Meet Rachel! Rachel is about 10 weeks old and our best guess is a Beagle Mix. We have no idea how big this puppy will be full grown, but she is about 4 pounds now! The mom dog is about 25 lbs and we have no idea on the dad. Rachel is currently in a foster home with her siblings and they spend their day wrestling and playing. They love the adult resident dog and enjoy following her around. They love snuggling with their foster mom any chance they get. The puppies will need to work on their house and crate training. Baby puppies will require the adopter to be at home a good portion of the day to continue training - no exceptions! This puppy is up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped and will need to be spay at the age of 6 months. The Adoption Fee for this puppy $400.00. A refundable spay/neuter deposit will be added to the adoption fee for puppies and kittens. ***Please note, this pup's immune system will not be fully functioning until about 16 weeks of age and therefore, s/he is not suited for Apartment/Condo living or Town homes without a private fenced yard and will not be able to go to public places where s/he could possibly be exposed to the germs of unvaccinated dogs, such as PetSmart/PetCo and dog parks until s/he is 16 weeks old*** ***You must be at least 25 years of age to adopt from CKRescue*** The adoption fee for this dog is $400, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. This fee DOES NOT INCLUDE spay/neuter if the pup is not already spayed/neutered. If the animal you are adopting is not already spayed/neutered, you will be required to sign a contract legally obligating you to have the animal altered. A $100.00 fee will be returned to the adopter once the animal has been sterilized. We will provide information on this process during the approval process. ***Note that puppy adoption fees most often help generate revenue that goes towards older, special needs animals that need our help. Surgeries, heartworm treatment, boarding costs and/or all things that often result in adoptable dogs and cats being left behind to be euthanized. So, adopting a puppy saves not just one life, but many! ***Please note that our first step in approving adoption applicants is to complete a vet check. Vetting of current and past pets is very important to us, thus we will be speaking with the vet(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies), spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives and examined annually by your vet.*** Our organization cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. The breed listed is based on any background we may have been provided, and/or the general appearance of the animal. **Please visit www.caninesandkittiesrescue.org to complete our non-binding application.**

IF YOU ARE VIEWING THIS LISTING ON PETFINDER OR ADOPT-A-PET, please visit: Caninesandkittiesrescue.org to access adoption requirements, more information and pictures. Meet Sadie - Sadie is 5 years old and weighs about 20 lbs. We think she looks like a Beagle Mix (just a guess). Ellie is good with other dogs, but we have no idea on cats. Ellie is a pretty easy going girl who loves to snuggle up on the couch and nap while her foster mom works. Sadie is good on leash and loves her daily walks. Sadie is 95% house trained, an accident here and there, as long as she is on a regular schedule. Sadie is not destructive in any way and does not need to be crated. While Sadie is not fostered with children we think she would be fine with children 5 years and up. Sadie is not a playmate to the other dogs in her foster home, but she is happy to hang out with them. Sadie is a pretty low key dog who would make a great addition to any home. Sadie would do best in a home where someone is at home a good portion of the day as this is what she has become accustomed to in her foster home. Sadie will be spayed in early December, she is up to date on vaccines and microchipped. The Adoption Fee is $375.00. ***You must be at least 25 years of age to adopt from CKRescue*** ***Please note that our first step in approving adoption applicants is to complete a vet check.
