Dolly was rescued from a hoarding situation in Seguine. She was at term with her pregnancy and was scheduled to be euthanized by Animal Control. She had her puppies 2 weeks after we got her. She was very fearful and would not be touched. over the past three months, she has come a very LONG way towards building a relationship with people. She is wary of strangers and goes into fight or flight mode. She is much clmer when she is on a leash with a person she trusts. She is learning to walk on a leach and to be more comfortable in common areas like on the deck or in the yard. She was in a house with 40 dogs so she's great with other dogs! These sweet little darlings were born on 7/30. Their momma was taken from a hoarding situation by Animal Control and was scheduled to be euthanized just days after we got her out of there! Her pups were born one week later! They are adorable, full of personality and currently around 5 lbs. Mom is 20lbs and looks a little like a beagle, we think dad was a chihuahua. The babies will all be 20lbs or smaller. They love their stuffies and their chew toys, napping and snuggling. They love everybody and everything, cats, dogs and kids! they are too young to be spay/neutered, but their adoption fee contains a $100 deposit returned to the adopter once they show proof of spay neuter. Lola is a gorgeous beagador. She is little over a year. She has some anxiety due to her being abused as a puppy. She needs help with that, it’s been a work in progress. She needs to get out and be active, get to interact with other dogs, and people. We’ve been trying to get her out of the bored barking/ barking at people knocking, but it is a process. She’s a very loving and affectionate dog, who loves attention and playing. We work a lot more than before, so tending to Lola is harder because we are away for so long and we don't believe that’s fair to her. I would like her to be adopted by someone who can tend to her needs, where I know she’ll be taken care of and be the most healthy and happiest girl dog ever.
