Hi, I'm Maleficent! I was pulled from the shelter, where I was scared and didn't trust humans. But the shelter staff helped me come around and now that I am in a foster home it is difficult to tell that I was ever a shy dog. I feel safer with women, but I like anyone who is willing to give me a treat. I am very treat motivated and that has worked well in helping me to be more social. I love having a companion dog around. I would do best in a dog with a larger male dog in the home. My adoption fee is $200 locally or I can be transported out of state for $550 ( includes health certiciate and travel fee) and includes all of the necessary vaccines, spay, and microchip. I am also undergoing treatment for heartworms, which is provided by the rescue. Oliver is a sweet 7 months old beagle mix who was rescued from an abandoned building of Houston. Oliver is a very adorable and loving puppy, who sleeps from 9 pm to 6 am without a peep. He is used to being by himself as his foster parents work. He lives with two doggie brothers but has not been tested with kitties. He is still a puppy, so he has some puppy energy and is playful. He is also trainable as he is very intelligent. A home with a fully fenced yard would be mandatory for her, as well as a family who can dedicate time, patience and love. Oliver is currently about 22 lb and fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. He is heartworm negative and kept on heartworm and flea preventative. Meet the very adorable Duke Ralphie! This guy is hysterical…Mr.Personality! Don’t let his size fool you. He is not some cutie patootie couch potato. This boy is looking for ADVENTURE!!! Duke Ralphie came to us from a small town where he used to be safe to visit his friends and neighbors with no trouble. But something changed in a neighbor and she was out to get the little guy and would actually try to run over him. Duke Ralphie’s family actually loved him but they had no way to keep him safe so they agreed to let us help find him a new home. Duke Ralphie is possibly a beagle/jack russel/chihuahua mix. He may weigh in at about 25-30 pounds, but again he is not the typical little. This guy could run the Rice track, hike for miles, dog park, coffee shop, bar hop with the best of them.
