Story
Please help us welcome Ruby and Rosie back to Rescue Row. Unfortunately, after 3 years in their adoptive home, they have been returned to our care due to a family health issue. These adorable 6 year old bonded Beagle sisters are back on the hunt for their forever home! Currently, both pups are overweight and working on shedding some lbs with their foster family. They went to Oak Grove Animal Hospital for a check up, and they are healthy besides needing some daily exercise. We transitioned them to a weight management food, and they started taking daily walks. Ruby and Rosie are on daily OTC allergy meds, and Ruby takes a Thyroid tablet twice a day. Their foster mom says that these pups have the cutest personalities! They like to lounge around and play with one another. They enjoy their daily walks and like to chase bunnies in the backyard. Ruby is dog selective, but Rosie is great with every pup she meets. They’re both wonderful with every person, including kids. They are also kennel trained and potty trained. If you are interested in adopting Ruby and Rosie, please fill out an application at rescuerowinc.org! *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows paid by cash, a check made out to Rescue Row, Venmo: @Rescue-Row or at Zelle: info@rescuerowinc.org Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##933867##

Story
Benny is a senior boy with lots of energy, enthusiasm, love and affection. He lives with lots of other dogs and gets along with everyone. He would love to chase the cats if he could so might not be good in a home with cats. He loves a chance to use his Beagle voice but is not an excessive barker; only uses it when he has a reason. He loves being with his human almost as much as treat and meal times. He is not much for car rides, he is good about riding but whines seems nervous wondering where he’s going. Guessing in the past car rides did not end in fun activities for him. He’s a very social boy, loves humans of all sizes and ages and is always happy for rubs and attention. Benny has great house manners and although he uses a crate in his foster home he would be fine without one once he knows his routine. He is fully vetted - current with his vaccines, neutered, on heartworm and flea/tick prevention and he is microchipped.

Story
Meet Dolores! This little lady is very outgoing and enjoys meeting new people, particularly on her daily walks. Lolo loves sun puddles, naps, cuddling with her people, naps, belly rubs, and treats. Did we mention naps? Dolores has a very sweet and playful personality, she is curious about other dogs although a bit shy at first, and gets along with kiddos very well. She will gently let you know when she has reached her social quota and wants to just cuddle with you. Lolo was found running towards a highway in East Texas, and looking the worst for wear. The vet that saw her determined she had been kept on a chain, and potentially abused, so she is looking for a home that will treasure her as the beautiful bean she is. Deloris has been brought current on vaccinations, she is heartworm negative, microchipped and current on heartworm prevention. She is believed to be spayed previously but given that she was found, we cannot determine that with 100% certainly without her undergoing surgery and or waiting to see if she goes into heat. LHS will cover the cost of her spay if it is later determined that she is not spayed.  If you are interested in adopting this sweet lady, please complete an online application today at: https://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoption-application/ Age: she is estimated to be 7 in January Weight: 43lbsWe do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted. Therefore, if you are interested in adopting from LHS, please complete an online application at http://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ and we will contact you asap about the status of your application. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Katie is a 15 years young love bug. Who is sweet as can be. She is very food motivated. If there is food Katie will find it. She LOVES attention from all humans. With or without food. She even adores her canine friends. However, she has never been cat tested. Katie enjoyes getting all dressed up. Her foster Mama will doll her up and take her all around town. Katie is the best passenger princess. She will happliy navigate any outing or adventure by your side. Possibly even napping along the way. So it might be best to not rely on her for directions. Katie is the Queen of Nap Taking. So if your hobby is napping, Katie will be more than happy to lay right next to you and snore the afternoon away. Along with exceptional taste in clothes, food, and traveling. Katie is also crate trained, a dream to walk on a leash, and has the best manners. She is the perfect Lady. So, if you are looking for someone, who is a bit on the slower pace, who will hobble along beside you, dress accordingly, share some treats with, listen to you talk mindlessly, take long naps beside, and who is up for any and all car rides. Katie is your gal. Don't let this gorgeous gal slip through your fingers.
