Meet Honey Bun! This sweet girl was pregnant in the Ingleside shelter until a Good Samaritan took her in so she wouldn’t have to have her babies on the hard concrete. Her babies have all found homes so now we’re trying to find something for Honey Bun! Honey Bun is an easy going girl who gets along with everyone and everything. While weaning her puppies, she lived in a home with kids and she currently lives with multiple dogs and cats. She loves some cuddle time and is up for car rides, walks, and pup cups! She is housebroken, crate trained, and is working on basic commands. Honey Bun is about 42 pounds and 2 years old. October 14, 2024, 3:59 pm

This charming little guy mastered the doggie door in less than a day-talk about a quick learner! Whiskey is a playful bundle of energy who loves to chew on everything he can find (watch out, shoes!). He gets along fabulously with his furry friends and is always up for a game of chase! With his spirited personality, he's food-motivated and eager to learn. He's already making great strides in basic obedience, walks well on a leash, and has even figured out how to bark-just in case you need a little extra enthusiasm in your life! Whiskey enjoys playtime but also appreciates his crate, especially when there's a tasty treat involved. He's been neutered and, while he may have chewed through his cone afterward, his surgery area healed up just fine!

Meet Bellini! She's a playful young pup who came to us with her 5 siblings: Bellini, Rita, Whiskey, Bailey, Fireball, and also her mom Brandy from southTexas. Bellini is a smart and sweet pup who's ready to find her forever home! Her brother, Whiskey, recently had a DNA test, and the results are posted in the pictures-such an exciting family! This intelligent girl has quickly learned to use the doggie door and sleeps through the night from 10 PM to 6 AM, with some occasional daytime naps. She currently weighs 16 lbs and is full of energy and love! Bellini knows how to sit on command and is currently working on "stay and "high five. She loves a good game of fetch, though she's still figuring out the whole bringing the toy back part. And let's not forget, she's a certified smuggler who sleeps soundly in her crate! She adores her dog friends and listens very well. While she prefers toys that make noise, she happily plays with all kinds of toys!

Meet Brandy! This sweet mama dog took care of her 6 puppies while on the streets of South Texas. She arrived to us with her 6 babies: Bellini, Cosmo, whiskey, Rita, Fireball and Bailey in September. Story
Sunny Sides, a Basset Hound mix, was found tied to a fence at an apartment complex and though she had a microchip, the person it was registered to did not want her back. So, we took her in to our vet to be given basic veterinary care, along with having her evaluated for a suspected urinary tract infection. She was having to go potty constantly, and there was blood present. Our vet did an x-ray and the reason for her discomfort and frequent urination became apparent. This poor senior’s bladder was absolutely full or bladder stones! We raised the funds for this very necessary surgery, and numerous bladder stones were removed. Throughout it all Sunny Sides, who is around 12 years old, has been a complete sweetheart and a very easy going foster. She gets along with all the dogs her foster mom has of various ages and sizes, and she doesn’t have any issues with cats. She will need to remain on a prescription urinary diet for the rest of her life, but she is otherwise completely healthy and ready to find a forever that really means forever. Her foster mom named her Sunny Sides because of her positive disposition-she looks at the sunny side of things and she deserves a sunny side of life from here on out. Austin metro, TX area adoptions preferred. Her adoption fee includes vet exam, vaccines, medications, and microchip.
