Cute.little Bubs was born without front legs. He came out of a drug house covered with fleas. He gets around mostly by hoping and sliding on his belly. We have gotten him a w/c and hes slowly learning to use it. He's an adorable little guy. Bubs is loving new adventures. He's been great with other dogs..sometimes a little intimated by bigger dogs. Bubs is neutered, up to date on shots, microchipped, heartworm negative and on preventative. He does have to be carried down steps (he can go up them howver) Bubs is housebr ..seeoken but needs the chance to go out. Please contact us at lifelongbuddies01@gmail.com

Story
See Courtesy Posting Disclaimer * High energy and a connoisseur of snuggles, Rudolph 'Rudy' is a 3-4 year old, special-needs, epileptic beagle who’s the best of both worlds. This little guy simultaneously has the energy and stamina to keep up with you during exercise, while also having a PhD in advanced napping. His favorite things are running at the dog park, hanging out with you in the kitchen, and cuddling up with his family for bedtime. - Medical History: Vaccinated, neutered, on monthly worm preventatives, and recently had dental cleaning/work done. Has medication-resistant epilepsy. Rudy is on two daily medications (Phenobarbital and Potassium Bromide) to combat his monthly cluster seizures, but because he is resistant he may never stop having them. He requires frequent vet visits to check his blood because of the Phenobarbital. Phenobarbital is a diuretic (pees more). - Temperament: Rudy is friendly to all people and pets, including adults, children, other dogs, and cats. He has no natural aggression and only snaps from dogs jumping on top of him. He can be picked up and carried. He loves to snuggle with people and dogs, and he is not very interested in playing with regular dog toys, only treat toys. However, he loves being around people and animals, even if he isn't very playful!- Behavior: Though friendly, he is high-maintenance and has a few behavioral problems that require an experienced owner. He is extremely high energy, has a lot to say, as all hounds do, has not taken to potty training, and cannot be left alone in a room for very long. He sleeps in a crate at night 85% of the time, but he doesn't always enjoy the crate and will bark to sleep in bed with his family instead. He knows how to sit, shake, lie down, speak, and wait (sit quietly), but only obeys half the time. He does not take “no” for an answer if smells or food are involved, so make sure you are ready for a challenge when it comes to training! Rudy has some specific needs, such as exercise and medication for managing his epilepsy, but with some extra care, this handsome devil can be your new best friend. Story
Meet Daffodil “Daffy”! This sweet/spunky girl was seen dumped out of a car on a busy road and she was weaving in and out of traffic. Thankfully she was caught a few days ago by a nice lady. The lady who caught her, actually has a broken foot and tried to take care of her, but she was struggling already taking care of her own dogs, so we offered to help. Dafffy was born approximately April 2024 and was too skinny when 1st rescued at 20 pounds. She is now a normal size at around 25 pounds and should be done growing. She is spayed, updated on all shots, microchipped, heartworm tested negative, and on heartworm/flea/tick prevention. Daffy is very much still a puppy, so she has puppy tendencies. Daffodil has that “hound nose” and she will follow it, so a fence is required for her. She LOVES playing with other dogs, so a dog friend is highly preferred. She is working on house/crate training and does well as long as she has plenty of potty breaks. Daffodil’s adoption fee is $200 to an approved and loving home. All vet records will be given to the adopter at the time of adoption. To apply to adopt go to our website www.fureverfurkids.com *We do home checks for each pet before approving an adoption.* The application is to be completed prior to meeting the pet(s) you are interested in adopting. If they are still on the page, they are still more than likely still available. We do keep our website and Petfinder updated regularly. Once a pet is adopted from our rescue, they MUST be returned to us, if you cannot keep them. If you plan on not keeping them their whole lives, please do not apply. Thank you for looking at our rescues in need of amazing homes!
