We are downgrading to an apartment and just won't have the room for her to be able to fully thrive

This dog has had a rough life (1st picture tethered in the winter after his owner passed, 2nd picture in the shelter, 3rd picture with our rescue) Tiny, a beagle/shepherd mix was saved from the shelter just in time. I got him out within a few hours of euthanasia . Fast forward to now, I am looking for an adopter who will give this boy plenty of attention. When I got him, he was quite nippy and he originally scared both a "rescue" and a foster when I tried to transfer him. I kept him here to address his issues and resolved everything except I have not had time to get him over his fear of nail clippers. He loves the cats, good with most dogs, prefers women and really loves rides in the car. He needs experienced adopter with no kids because of being nippy when I first got him, as he can possibly revert back in a strange home. I taught him to dance a little (SEE VIDEO BELOW PICTURE) and he is a real cool dog. He is 8 and a half years old, completely vetted and all shots

Bo has been raised with two boys! A 3 year old and a 7 year old! We love Bo. But we started a business and HAVE to simplify time with our family. And our landlord is making our requirements to be without dog to keep affordable rates. Beagles barely shed, we have never had to clean areas for shedding other than his crate. Bo loves to nap during the day, play with a chew toy and take walks. Extremely affectionate little guy. Knows how to sit, stay, and come to you. Say “crate” and he gladly goes to it!

Sweet Willy came from a home where he and 9 other Beagles were chained to garbage cans their entire lives. Taken off the chains only when the owner hunted with them. Willy had the worst situation of them all, his garbage can was so small that her couldn't even stand up in it! His back was so sore when he arrived that it took him a week or so before he could comfortably run and play with the gang. He was chained up like that for 10 YEARS! Willy is the sweetest boy you will ever meet and just needs a home where he can live out his days with lots of love and good care. Huck is an incredibly sweet Beagle that came to us recently and had several wounds on his back from unknown origin. We are have had him vetted and the vet feels like they could be from a past flea infestation but took skin samples to confirm so will know more soon. But we do know he is 100% Beagle and LOVES people and seems good with other dogs and kids so would be great in a family! He seems to love and do well in the hustle and bustle. Huck has a very sweet disposition and does well in a car and on a leash and LOVES to give kisses!!! He also does have some separation anxiety but does great in a crate! He has a love/hate relationship with blinds in a home so know that going in-you may have to go to curtains or keep your blinds up but believe us, it would be worth it to have this absolute love in your home! Huck will be neutered and have a dental late June/early July but he could be adopted before then and Bonaparte's Retreat would take care of the costs. June 24, 2024, 3:40 pm
