Melvin is easily recognized by his black and brindle coat, and his signature white socks! On top of his sharp looks, Melvin has an A+ personality. He is incredibly friendly, he gets along great with other dogs of all shapes an sizes, and doesn't mind the company of cats or kids either. These brothers were found at a boat dock in a rural area with no animal shelter, and sadly, only they could be caught. While Henry could potentially thrive on his own, Hank truly needs his brother for comfort and support. Henry has a grade five heart murmur, at his most recent recheck of an echocardiogram, it did show a progression in his condition that does require him to be on daily medication to maintain. He is now on Enalapril 5mg & Pimobendan 3.75mg, both of which he gets twice a day. These meds roughly cost $38 a month. Future meds will be required, so adopters should be prepared. Hank, who is very shy and lacks confidence, has undergone hernia surgery and still has a small one, but it’s not a concern. A fenced yard is a must. They absolutely love spending nice days outside together and get excited for their daily leisurely leash walks with their foster mom. She found herself in a very nice but small town shelter in Tennessee. And they are crazy about this sweet Beagle girl. She is such a well-rounded dog justi as we know beagles are. She hangs on your every word and every kind gesture. She adores people and attention, and will gladly learn commands. We have found her to be wonderful with all other dogs and cats that she meets. She, of course, has her nose to the ground as she inspects any new areas of the playyard. We think she is pretty much housebroken, and we know that she is smart. Meet Shautae! This shortstack of sweetness wants your help finding a forever family. Shautae, we we affectionately call Taetae and Shorty, is an absolutely adorable mixed breed with an estimated birthday of 09/01/2020. There has been some debate amoung our staff about what breed she is, but we have settled on a Pointer-Basset hound mix, weighing in aroudn 45lbs. What Shorty lack in height, she more than makes up for in her loving personality. Shorty makes friends as easy as pie, and you'd be hard pressed to find someone who wasn't charmed by her tiny little legs. If you were to ask our staff about some of Taetae's favorite things, they would probably tell you how much she loves to lounge in the sun! This beautiful girl will take every chance she can get to lay out on one of her beds in the sunshine and catch some rays. Shautae also loves the company of other dogs, but as always we require a meet and greet if you already have any at home. She is suited to a home without cats. Shautae does great with kids around 10yr and up, but younger kids tend to stress her out, so a home without little ones is best. Shautae is fully vetted and spayed, her adoption fee is $175.
