Story
Bailey has the face of a Beagle and the legs of a gazelle. He is trained to use a pet door and has been accident-free since arriving here. He's a sweet little boy that needs a family who will help boost his confidence. We think he's around 2 years old and he is healthy and ready to travel now. He seems to be afraid of men so a home with females or smaller quiet males would be best for him and another friendly dog would also help him feel more comfortable. If you're interested in welcoming Bailey or any of our Funny Farm friends into your home, please visit funnyfarmpets.org to learn more about our Tennessee-based rescue, the adoption process, the comprehensive vetting procedures these pets undergo before they come to your home, and to submit an adoption application. The adoption fee for this pet is $325, and an additional $200 is required for transport. Currently located in a foster home in Tennessee, this pet will be transported to a northern location after the adoption process is finalized. For details on meeting locations and the transport process, please visit the transport tab at funnyfarmpets.org

Story
Updated: 05NOV24 **Meet Liam, the Little Legend and Couch Potato Extraordinaire!** Breed: Beagle & Chihuahua Mix (a perfect blend of snooze and schmooze!) Weight: 25 lbs of pure charm **Personality: The Sweetest Charmer in Town!** This boy is AMAZING! If you're in the market for a pint-sized companion with a heart full of love, look no further! Liam has been in foster care for over a year, and all this little legend wants is a family to call his own. He's currently ruling the roost in his foster home, where he's living it up with dogs, cats, and even chickens! You could say he's the ambassador of fun for all creatures great and small. In fact, he could charm a serial killer into changing their behavior-his sweet demeanor and irresistible personality are simply that compelling! **Adventures: The Social Butterfly of the Dog World!** This little adventurer has a social calendar that would make any celebrity jealous! He's strutted his stuff at an adoption event at Crosstown Brewing Co and has even visited Home Depot and Marshall's. You could say he's a "do-it-all kind of pup-just don't ask him to fix anything! Liam loves meeting new people and critters-he's the life of every party, bringing his infectious spirit and charm wherever he goes. **Homebody Vibes and Separation Anxiety: The Couch King!** When he's not out conquering the world, you can find Liam snoozing in his bassinet like royalty or lounging on the couch, claiming it as his personal throne. This guy knows how to relax and is always ready to cuddle-he's got a PhD in couch potato studies! Not only is Liam a wonderful companion, but he also has zero dog odor-he has never, ever stunk! His fresh scent is just one of the many reasons you'll fall in love with him. Liam loves cats, and they love him right back! He's great with feline friends and can often be found sharing his space with them, proving that he's a true friend to all creatures.Liam used to be scared to death of bath time, but he's totally over that now! His newfound confidence means bath time is just another part of his fabulous routine. While he does experience some anxiety, it's important to note that it's gradually decreasing over time. After about a year, he can now be left alone without being crated for shorter absences. For outings of 1-3 hours, he's free to roam the house, and the worst he'll do now is pull a blanket off the sofa. Liam is also a brave little warrior when it comes to thunderstorms! Although he's scared of thunder, he'll suck it up and do his business outside when there's a storm. It's a testament to his determination and good nature! And let's not forget his hilarious attempts to catch squirrels! Liam thinks he can outsmart them, but the little critters always seem to win the game. His futile chases add a comedic touch to his personality and keep everyone entertained. It's worth mentioning that Liam may never be suited for boarding, as the experience might just break his little heart. In case of travel when he can't go along, it would be best to find a friend who can keep him for the week. Fortunately, he loves everyone and does perfectly at babysitters, making it easier to find a loving temporary home. **Playful Spirit: The Fun-Loving Goofball!** Liam embodies the perfect mix of friendly and affectionate charm, always ready to shower you with kisses and gentle cuddles. His playful and smart nature shines through as he eagerly fetches toys and cleverly figures out how to snag those tasty treats. With a nose for adventure, he's curious about every new smell, and his funny antics will keep you laughing. Plus, with his exceptional talent for napping, he truly knows how to balance energy and relaxation! **Why Liam?: Your Future Furry Best Friend Awaits!** If you're looking to add a fun-sized fur baby to the family, Liam is the ultimate companion! He's ready to bring joy, laughter, and endless cuddles to your home. Don't let this little guy spend another day without a family-get ready for a lifetime of love and shenanigans with Liam, your new furry best friend! With his charming personality and a heart full of love, Liam is eager to find his forever home where he can continue to spread happiness and joy. If you think you can provide the love and companionship he's been waiting for, don't hesitate to reach out!

Story
Updated: 04NOV24 **Meet Kiko - The Couch Potato Connoisseur! ** Name: Kiko Breed: Beagle Mix/Sheperd (a distinguished 52 lbs of pure charm!) Age: 9 and a half years (the wise old sage of snuggles!) Neutered: You betcha! Vaccinations: Fully vaccinated (ready to take on the world-at a leisurely pace!) **Hello there!** Hi, my name is Kiko! Am I not the most handsome boy you've ever seen? If you enjoy quiet days and evenings snacking on the couch while watching Hallmark Christmas movies, look no further-I'm your perfect partner in crime! While I do enjoy my leisurely walks (think stroll, not sprint) and sniffing all the great smells outside, I'm also content to just lay at your feet or engage in a serious squeaky toy chewing session. Now, let's talk about snacks-I'm a bit of a connoisseur! I have a refined palate and can definitely tell the difference between a yummy treat and a green bean. Sneak a green bean by me, and I'll give you the side-eye of disapproval! **Car Rides & Social Skills** I also love car rides and being wherever you are! Just picture it: you, me, the open road, and a playlist of our favorite tunes. I'm the older guy looking for my next person to bond with. My prior owner was busy, busy, busy, which made me anxious and uncomfortable-too much excitement for my laid-back lifestyle! I can be a bit hesitant around new people, so I might take my time to warm up to you. If I'm not feeling social (which is often), I'll be perfectly content in my cozy kennel with my favorite stuffed carrot. I'm house-trained, love gentle pets and ear scratches, but I'm not really a cuddler. While I enjoy being near my people, I prefer to keep my personal space-think of me as a charming companion who values independence! **Training & Bonding** I know how to sit like a good boy and have fantastic recall-just call my name, and I'll come sauntering over like I'm the star of a slow-motion movie! I spent some time at Champion Farms in November 2023, where everyone learned a lot about me. I take a little time to warm up, but once I do, I bond faster than you can say "treat time! A quiet home suits me best, but one where I can still enjoy short leash walks with my person is ideal. My new human should possess some leadership qualities to ensure healthy boundaries-after all, I bond deeply with my favorite humans! Oh, and here's the cherry on top: My next home will receive a free in-home session with Edgar at The Champion Farm to ensure you get started on the right foot together. Think of it as a training montage for our buddy cop movie!
