Story
Meet Adee (pronounced eighty). This sweet girl is a true gem! She's crate trained, potty trained and does great around other animals. She has a very calm and chill demeanor overall, but has moments of playfulness sometimes. She is a dream on a leash and loves her leisurely walks around the neighborhood. She takes some time opening up, which is not surprising considering she came from a huge hoarding case where she didn't get a lot of interaction from people. Once she begins to feel comfortable and settle in, she will be your best friend. She loves to be right by your side and has the sweetest way of letting you know she wants you to give her some love. If you are looking for a super chill, easy going senior dog, this is your girl.

Story
Sam is a really special senior who is going to need a really special someone who can give him the love and care he needs. Sam has a seizure disorder. While it is managed with medication and daily exercise, he is still prone to seizures when he gets really happy and/or excited. His foster tries to make sure he gets as much exercise as possible and walks him about 2 3 miles a day to keep his energy level on the lower side.We hope there is someone who will understand and embrace his medical concerns because Sam is a wonderful dog. He might be around 8-years old, but he has lots of love to give! He keeps himself busy throughout the day playing with his toys, napping, and keeping you company. Hes great on walks, does well on car rides, is crate trained, knows sit and does well with kids and other chill dogs. (High-energy kids and dogs might be too much for him and cause him to get too excited which can trigger a seizure).Sam is a gentle soul who would be a great companion and is sure to melt your heart and make you laugh with his silly antics and playful spirit. We know there must be someone out there just as special as Sam, so his adoption fee will be waived to ensure he finds a great home filled with love and compassion where he will be well cared for and live a spoiled-rotten comfortable life.Special Medical Information:Sam has a seizure disorder that is managed with medication. He will require seizure medications and regular vet visits for the rest of his life. He also received a recent cancer diagnosis. While the lesion was surgically removed, it is likely that it will reoccur.

Story
Meet Farah! Farah is an almost 1-year-old Beagle mix with a gentle spirit and a playful heart. She came to us from Orangeburg, South Carolina, where she was found in the woods with her siblings. When Farah first arrived, she was extremely skittish and terrified of human touch—flattening herself on the ground and freezing in fear whenever someone approached her. But with time, love, and patience, Farah has blossomed into a sweet and curious pup. She now enjoys coming up for gentle pets and even shares little kisses with those she trusts. Her favorite pastimes include lounging in the swimming pools in the yard and joyfully chasing butterflies—proof that her playful side is shining through. Farah is fully vetted and ready to find her forever home. If you’re looking for a loving companion with a heartwarming story of resilience, Farah could be the perfect addition to your family. Apply to adopt her today!

Story
Ipkiss is a 7 month old Beagle German Shepard Mix. He was born on a farm near Ridgeville, SC. He is an energetic puppy but also loves to cuddle. He definitely loves to eat and play with other dogs. Ipkiss was given to my sister-in-law, however, she has decided she is not ready for the responsibility it takes to care for a puppy. She is ready to take him to a shelter, but I would like to get him into a good home instead of leaving his well being of life to chance. I am taking care of him until I can find him a good home, but I am currently in the military and gone all day so I’d like to find him a good and loving home as soon as possible. He was given most of his shots on the farm, however, I do have record of his Parvo and Rabies shots (including Rabies Tag). Also, the neutering is up to the adopter. It is not mandatory if you would like for him to not be neutered. If you have any questions, please let me know!

Story
A beagle on wheels!  The smile on Margot's face would never reveal the horrors that got her to where she is today.  Margot was surrendered to the shelter with no use of her rear end after she had been dragging herself around for FOUR MONTHS!  She had the sores and rashes to prove it.  While we will never know what happened to her, we know that she has a will to thrive and live her very best life!  She has adapted well to her wheelchair and loves her evening walks, where she is quite the neighborhood celebrity :)  Recently she went on a 5-mile walk, so she has great stamina and just wants to be included. Margot loves meeting new people and dogs of all sizes.  She LOVES to play!  And she loves being pet, picked up, held, any attention. Margot does need to have her bladder expressed 3-4 times per day as she does not seem to have the ability to urinate on her own readily.  But she doesn't mind at all!  At home, indoors, she does not stay in her wheelchair and happily scoots around the house to wherever the action is.  She easily slides down off the sofa and can slide down stairs without a problem, she just can't go up stairs.  But since she is only 18-lbs it is easy to carry her up anywhere she needs to go.  Margot's wheelchair and drag bag (for scooting around outside without the chair) will go with her to her adopting family. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out an application.  We do allow out of state adoptions and any transport costs are at the expense of the adopter.  If you have further questions about this dog, please email us at ccradopt@gmail.com and someone will be in touch as soon as possible. Please note we are unable to hold dogs for adopters as this ties up valuable foster homes. Please understand that we are an all volunteer group and we have jobs outside of this organization.  We do our best to provide quick responses but occasionally they are a little slower.  If you do not receive a response in 48 hours, please resend to make sure it's received. ##2101484##
