Story
Meet Boone! Boone is a 38-pound young Beagle/Bulldog mix with a heart as big as his adorable floppy ears. At less than 2 years old, Boone is the perfect combination of playful energy and affectionate charm. He’s social, happy, and gets along wonderfully with other dogs, making him a great addition to a home with furry companions. Thanks to his foster family, Boone has learned to walk on a leash like a pro and is both house and crate trained. He’s ready to settle into a forever home where he can share his love and playful spirit. Boone’s journey began when he and his companion, Sandy, wandered up to a good Samaritan’s home in search of food and shelter. Now, Boone is ready for the next chapter of his life—a forever home where he can truly thrive as someone’s loyal best friend. If you’re looking for a happy-go-lucky companion with a big heart and an even bigger smile, Boone is the perfect match! Story
Jax is a delightful handsome beagle boy who is looking for a loving home. He has such a good temperament and is fine with people, other dogs and even cats!Through no fault of his own, Jax has had several homes in his young life. His original adopter developed a debilitating disease and was forced to rehome him due to her inability to care for him. The family who he was re-homed to, basically took him because they were trying to help the original owner. His new owners gave Jax a good home for a couple years, but now they also have some health issues that prevent them from giving him needed care. Jax currently lives with a 12 year old child, a boxer, and several cats, as well as a family member in a power wheelchair. He is not a "escape artist" beagle. He usually stays inside the house, uncrated. He has shown no interest in climbing out of or digging out of his fenced yard. But, of course if the gate were left open, he would likely follow his nose around town. Jax enjoys his walks and does great on a leash. Typical to his breed, he can be somewhat vocal at times.Jax is very cooperative with all grooming. He also likes to ride in the family pick up truck. This boy is doggy door trained, as well.Apply today for this wonderful boy!!!Name: JaxBreed: BeagleSex: MaleAge: 3 years  (estimated)Weight: 35.0Spayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: Negative on recent testingMicrochipped: YesBASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS:Good with Children: Over 12Good with Dogs: YesGood with Cats: YesAdoption Fee: $500.00  (includes transport fee when applicable)Location of dog currently:    Texarkana Tx IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue - our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south and New England.  Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. Story
Lovely Trinket is a sweet, active girl who wants a human to call her own. She wants to catch up with petting, snuggling, and other treats that she probably has never had. She is very friendly and likes to snuggle and give kisses. She loves to play and run with her four-legged buddies. Even though she is smaller, she gives all the other dogs in her foster home a run for their money during playtime. She needs a young, active family with another good-tempered dog.She is ready for belly rubs whenever you are. She is fostered in the country and will bark if deer come up to the fence, but she's not a huge barker. Does well in the crate at night. She gets into a vehicle easily and is a quiet traveler when in the car. She is working on walking on a slip lead and is making progress. She is house-trained and crate-trained and goes easily into her crate but expects a treat for her willingness. She has not been formally cat tested but has not shown interest in them when walking through the cat room in her foster home. She has not lived with children or been around little ones, so children in her home need to be over age 7. If you are looking for a lovely active dog to join our family Lovely Trinket is ready to join you.Name: Lovely TrinketBreed: Beagle/CrossbreedSex: FemaleAge: 1 year  (estimated)Weight: 22.0Spayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: Negative on recent testingMicrochipped: YesBASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS: Good with Children: Over 7Good with Dogs: YesGood with Cats: seems to ignore them  but can be officially tested Adoption Fee: $500.00  (includes transport fee when applicable)Location of dog currently:  Texarkana Tx   IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue - our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south and New England.
