Story
Meet Bailey! 5 mos. Neutered/Male Beagle/Basset Hound Mix 28 lbs Playful and goofy, eager to have fun, play and explore, Bailey is a boisterous boy who is full of adventure, and he's looking for an amazing family who can help him to expend his energy on fun walks and hikes, on play time and on training, and who will shower him in all the love and cuddles. Doing great with his house training and having only the rare accident in his foster home, Bailey is smart and eager to please, but he is still very much a puppy and is working on his manners and learning that jumping up isn't polite. Bailey walks pretty well on leash, but is interested in everything around him, and as a young pup he still needs both patience and training from his new family as he learns and grows to help ensure he becomes the best possible canine companion that he can be. Bailey has only limited exposure to cats so his overall behavior with them is unknown, he does interact and play well with other dogs with a proper introduction, he absolutely loves to run around and have fun with a buddy. Still a growing boy at just over 5 months old, Bailey has lots to learn about life, but he's already an expert at love, and cant wait to have a family to grow with! Bailey is suitable for a family with older, gentle kids, or a mature setting, and will require a home with a fenced yard. Bailey has been vet checked and fully vaccinated (with booster), he has been microchipped and neutered. An adoption fee of $550 applies. Please apply to adopt today at http://priderescue.ca/

Story
his name is Jason (JuJu, Mister J or J) He is house trained. He goes outside. Unfortunately we have to find our boy at 9 years old a new home. The last couple years he’s become more aggressive to us and other dogs. My husband got bitten by him and he has ptsd now. My husband has allergies as well. He’s a loving dog when he wants to be. When he chooses to pursue you. He would be perfect for a couple who is older or has a farm. He will make a good guard dog with training. We don’t want to bring him to a shelter because we don’t want them to kill him. He deserves love and a fighting chance. We want him to live out the rest of his years with a family who can take good care of him. Even when it comes to vet visits, we are having a hard time financially and can’t take care of him. Please without judgements can anymore help us and take him in?

Story
Rose is a 6-year-old, 13kg spayed female Beagle with a heart full of sweetness and a gentle soul. She was brought to a city shelter after her owner had to move into a care facility, arriving with a dog believed to be her mother. Sadly, the older dog passed away at the shelter. Rose spent over a year sharing a kennel with 7 to 8 other dogs. Her friendly nature helped her get along with everyone, and thanks to her easygoing temperament, she was spared from euthanasia and eventually rescued.   This lovely girl warms up quickly to anyone holding a treat and knows how to sit on command. She stayed with a family that had kids aged 10 to 16 and charmed everyone with her affectionate and well-mannered behavior. Rose is comfortable being lifted with an arm under her belly and will even show her belly once she trusts you. She’s a true social butterfly—she greets both familiar and new dogs eagerly and loves making new friends at the dog park. When meeting other dogs for the first time, especially those her size or smaller, she’s always up for a playdate.   While on walks, Rose may show curiosity toward cats, but she’s easily redirected and follows her human’s lead. She has a moderate energy level—she enjoys her outdoor time but is happy to rest calmly afterward. She does tend to pull on the leash a bit, especially during the first 5–10 minutes of a walk when she’s excited and looking for a potty spot. Once she’s taken care of business, she enjoys sniffing around, especially where other dogs have left their mark.   Rose isn’t food-aggressive—she’s happy to share with both people and dogs. She’s also incredibly quiet at home and only raises her voice during walks when she spots a dog she’d like to play with. With her Beagle voice, she can be loud, but a quick redirection in the opposite direction usually does the trick. She rides calmly in a kennel and can hop in and out of the car on her own. She’s house-trained and uses both pee pads indoors and does her business outside.   Before you head out, a 20-minute walk and a chew stick are all it takes to keep her content—she’ll nap peacefully until you return. Rose absolutely adores people and thrives on love and togetherness. She’s emotionally in tune and sensitive, making the bond with her even more special. She doesn’t ask for much—just a walk, your attention, and a bit of affection. Whether it’s ear cleaning, nail trimming, baths, or getting dressed for an outing, Rose handles it all with quiet patience. She’s good-natured even during playful teasing and has a hearty appetite to match her big heart. Rose is a truly lovable companion just waiting for her forever home.   Send in your application today through our website   https://adoptmekoreanrescue.org/adoption-application/   She can arrive at Vancouver or Toronto airport and may be able to arrive at some US airports (Seattle, LA, NY, Boston etc) where we have flight volunteers. If interested, please contact us.       ##2410846##

Story
PLEASE READ NIKKI’s BIO IN DETAIL TO ENSURE THAT HE WILL BE A GOOD FIT FOR YOU AND YOUR LIFESTYLE BEORE APPLYING. PEASE NOTE: HE IS BEING FOSTERED IN THE OTTAWA, ON AREA We at All Paws Matter believe in the benefits of post-adoption training for our dogs and their families. This allows for continued socialization, learning and helps to create a well-mannered and balanced dog. This is now a requirement in our adoption process. Proof of training classes for puppies specifically is required before adoption. NAME: Nikki Age: 5 years Breed: Mexi-Mix Sex: Male Weight: 15 kg Location: Ottawa, ON Adoption fee: $600.00 Spayed/Neutered: Yes Leash trained: Pulls slightly, but good on leash House trained: Yes but needs time outdoors to do his business Kids/Cats/Dogs: Yes - dogs, no cats, no children Vetting: Up to date on all vaccination, sterilized, microchipped, 4dx tested: negative for Heart worm. Currently on flea/tick/heart worm prevention, dewormed and vet checked before arriving. Medical Issues: None Comes with 4 weeks free pet insurance (after initial vet visit) Nikki is a major snuggle bug. Once he connects to you, he will be yours forever. Gone will be the days of being totally alone because he will be right by your side all day if you choose. He just loves to hang out and cuddle up by your side on the couch or anywhere you are. Nikki gets so excited after a good night sleep that he can’t quite contain himself as he looks forward to the rest of the day. You see, Nikki has lived on the streets for quite some time where we believe some abuse occurred so we can understand why he is so cautious of humans and everyone around him. He is being fostered with other dogs and is fine with them but we feel he would be best as an only dog so he can get all the attention that he deserves. No cats for Nikki as he does like to chase them. Nikki’s ideal home would be a quiet home, one with one or two people who are willing to gain his trust and be patient with him. He needs time to connect with people. Due to this we recommend no children since their energy may be detrimental for him. If you wish to have people over frequently he is not the dog for you as he really seems to connect with one or two people. A home with a fenced in back yard would be best and no condo/apartment as he needs to do his business frequently and needs time to do it. Nikki is crate trained and can sleep a good 8 hours in there. It is a great safe place for him as well, If you feel you would be the right fit for Nikki, please fill out an adoption application at https://www.allpawsmatter.ca/apply-to-adopt/ All APM dogs are UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, spayed or neutered, dewormed, Heart worm (4dx snap) tested and arrive with a health certificate. They come to adopter with a harness, a collar and two leashes for safety. NOTE: The above description is relevant to this dog in its current and previous setting. Home changes and adopter personalities can bring out different behaviours not previously seen. We also do not claim or suggest that our dogs are hypo-allergenic or that they shed/do not shed. BREED DISCLAIMER: We are never sure of the breed of our dogs since they arrive off the streets or shelters. It is a guess only!

Story
Quick Facts  Name: Deuri Age: 7 years old Gender: Male Neutered: Yes Breed: Beagle Mix Color: Brown and Black Weight: 16 kg Health History Vaccinations & Preventatives All vaccinations are complete and up to date.   My Story Hello there, future family! My name is Deuri, and I’m a charming and affectionate Beagle mix with a heart full of love. I’m excited to tell you a little about myself and why I think we’d make the perfect team.   Personality I’m a people-lover through and through! I’m always ready to greet new faces with a wagging tail and a happy heart. Whether you’re a close friend or someone I’ve just met, I’ll gladly nuzzle up for some attention. In fact, I’m known to roll over and show my belly as a way of saying, “Let’s be friends!” I’m also great with other dogs. I get along well with dogs of all sizes, but I especially enjoy playing with pups who are around my size or smaller. I haven’t had much experience with cats, but I’m so focused on my walks and my human that I might not even notice them.   On My Walks Walks are one of my favorite activities! I have a high energy level, which means I’m always ready for a good outdoor adventure. Sometimes, I might pull a little on the leash because I’m eager to explore, but I listen well and enjoy following your lead. A good walk or a fun trip to the dog park helps me burn off my energy, and afterward, I’m happy to relax at home with you.   Life at Home At home, I’m a mix of lively and laid-back. I’m just as comfortable running around a yard or park as I am curling up beside you after a day of play. I’m well-versed in both indoor and outdoor potty habits, making me adaptable to different routines. I have a gentle nature when it comes to food—I never guard my meals or treats, whether I’m sharing space with people or other dogs. I do have a charming habit of giving a soft bark when I want to express myself, whether it’s to say hello, ask for a treat, or let you know I’m ready for some playtime.   My Ideal Family I dream of a family that loves the outdoors as much as I do. Whether it’s exploring new trails, playing fetch in the yard, or visiting the local dog park, I’m happiest when I’m active and by your side. Here’s what I’m hoping for in my forever home: Active Companions: A family who enjoys walks, hikes, or other outdoor activities would be perfect for me. Loving Home: I thrive on love and companionship, so a family who’s around often would make me the happiest. Space to Explore: A yard to roam or regular trips to a park would be a dream come true.   Last Message If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who will bring joy, energy, and plenty of cuddles into your life, I’m your perfect match. Let’s start our adventure together—I can’t wait to meet you! ##2251043##
