Story
From his Foster Family: Toulouse is doing great! After about a day or two, he warmed up and started getting more comfortable as noted by barking at us when entering a room - ha! He LOVES our other dog and is his literal shadow. If dodger stretches, Toulouse stretches. If dodger scratches, Toulouse scratches... you get the jist! I think a home with another dog to help show him the ropes is a necessity!!! He still seems to be very hesitant with us, as people. He will take treats out of our hands and has started to reduce the running away from us when we need to pick him up, but he still doesn't willingly let us touch him or pet him with ease. He will lay against our legs if they're under a cover which makes me think he has no idea that it's actually our legs under there lol! No issues with the leash! I think he doesn't like it because he doesn't want to be close to people but, we've practiced walking on the leash on the enclosed patio and he eventually gives in and doesn't immediately try to run away. Still working on potty training. He loves to go outside and potty (and follows dodger every time he goes) but, the boy also loves to mark everything so likes to tinkle inside to mark his territory. No food aggression at all! He and dodger eat out of the same bowl and it's all good! No issues with the cats. He understands it's their space and hasn't paid them a lick of attention! Small, but steady, progress for sure! He is such a sweet boy and I think once comfortable, will be so loyal to his people!!!

Story
Prudence is a beagle mix and about 2 or 3 years old. We adopted her from Forsyth County Animal Shelter of June 2023. She’s a very sweet and smart girl with lots of energy and potential, loves to cuddle and play, up to date on her vaccines, spayed and potty trained. She is reactive and resource guards from other animals. We were unable to crate train her but our trainer believes she has a phobia of being locked in, but does fine outside of it and isn’t very destructive. She has a lot of energy and high prey drive so she requires both physical and mental stimulation. She LOVES to sniff around and loves games where she has to use her nose. Very food motivated! She needs help building her confidence but knows how to sit, wait, lay down, and shake. Active owner who has experience with high energy/reactive/working dogs is a must and lives in a relatively quiet area. No fee, we just want her to go to a good home.

Story
Tybee is a 4-year-old beagle that enjoys lounging around on the couch but is also playful enough to play tug-of-war and fetch. He is a very vocal dog and likes being outdoors and running in wide open spaces, so a fenced in backyard or farmland would be necessary. Tybee would do really well as a single companion pet, but he is also accustomed to being around other animals, such as cats, other dogs, bunnies, and guinea pigs. He is kid friendly, although he does appreciate his own space at times. Please do your research on beagle's beforehand if you are interested.
