Story
Meet Lilypad, a sweet 5-year-old beagle with a gentle heart! She’s blossoming every day, gaining confidence as she learns to feel at home. She’s doing wonderfully on walks and enjoys having a backyard for her potty breaks. Lillypad is crate trained, house trained, and fantastic with both dogs and kids. She is spayed and weighs about 25 pounds. One of her cutest quirks? She’ll greet you with an excited bark to let you know just how happy she is to see you!  If you are interested in adopting Lilypad, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age.   **Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **February 1, 2025, 1:51 pm

Story
Roxy is a nine month old Beagle/Feist (and a few other breeds) mix who weighs about 25 pounds. Her foster family says that she is super sweet with loads of puppy energy and is VERY playful.   Roxy loves meeting people and other dogs. She can be shy when first meeting new people. Roxy loves kids and can be a enthusiastic when meeting them and needs some time to settle down. She does well in her crate. She is doing well with house training, but does have some accidents during excited puppy moments. She is not a big barker, but will announce visitors at the door. If you are interested in adopting Roxy, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age.  **Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. Story
Hi everyone my name is Gretchen and I am a three to four-year-old purebred Beagle girl that weighs 35 lb and I found myself homeless in a small town in Tennessee. People said that I was roaming the neighborhood for a while and no one knew who I belonged to. The shelter found Critter Cavalry Rescue to take me and I am looking for a home with a retired man because Critter Cavalry has found that I probably was abused by a woman.  I can be nice to them but I don't want to live with them.   They intimidate me and I am truly very fond of a man's attention.  I am good with other dogs and can hang out with and be best friends forever. I love people and I am friends with every dog and cat that I meet. As you can see, I am a happy girl and they tell me that I'm quite pretty too. No one knows much about me except that I have a sweet smile, a great personality and I love people that let me snuggle with them. I promise that I will be your cuddly snuggle bug and your best friend forever. I am looking for a Beagle loving home. I would welcome children as a part of my life and I can live with other dogs and even cats. They have tested me with everything and said I'm pretty perfect. If you are interested please write immediately to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comNovember 7, 2024, 10:11 pm
