Story
(DOB 01/15/2025) Raisin is a super friendly, happy-go-lucky pup who has truly never met a stranger. Whether it’s people, other dogs, or the guy delivering your packages, Raisin is convinced everyone is a new best friend. He attends doggie daycare often and has energy to spare, keeping up easily with all his buddies. Raisin thrives with canine companions and would enjoy a fenced yard to zoom around in, but he’s flexible! He can be an only dog and doesn’t require a fenced yard as long as his people are committed to giving him fun ways to burn off that joyful energy like daily walks, play sessions, daycare, toys, or simply time spent by your side all make him one happy Raisin. He’s working on his leash manners and will need someone willing to practice with him, but he loves car rides, adventures, and being part of whatever his people are doing. He’s also crate trained, which makes downtime and routines easy. Raisin gets along great with kids, though his enthusiasm makes him best suited for families with older, sturdier kiddos. We aren't sure about cats because he hasn't had an opportunity to meet any at this time. If you’re looking for a cheerful, social, and energetic companion, Raisin is the perfect pup for an awesome family! As part of Raisin’s $300 adoption fee, he will be neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. If you have questions about this sweet pup, you can email: Dogteam@pawsforlifenc.org. If you wish to adopt Raisin, you can fill in an online application for him under the Adopt a Pet Tab on our website: www.pawsforlifenc.org. ##2594280##

Story
Meet Primrose! Primrose and her siblings were born in late October to a sweet mama who appears to be a Beagle–hound mix weighing about 25 pounds. At just three months old, these pups are already tipping the scales between 19–24 pounds, so we’re guessing dad was a bigger boy—but his breed remains a mystery. These puppies may be some of the softest you’ll ever touch, inside and out. They’re affectionate, gentle, and doing great with kids and other dogs, and they’re just beginning to learn about cats. Like all puppies, they’re fun, energetic, and full of curiosity, so they’ll do best with families who understand the time, patience, and love that puppy ownership requires. Their foster families are already working on crate training and potty training, giving them a great start toward becoming wonderful family dogs. Apply at: apsofpc.org under the Adopt tab Adoption fee: $300 The adoption fee includes: • Up-to-date vaccines • Puppy deworming • Microchip • Rescue discount for spay/neuter at our partner vet in Person County If you’re ready to add puppy love (and a little chaos!) to your life, Primrose and her siblings are ready to meet you.March 10, 2026, 4:21 pm

Story
Bright eyes, a smart nose and a beagle body, Izzy is the complete beagle package! Izzy is an adult gal who weighs about 26 lbs full grown. Don't let her smaller size fool you as this girl is active and likes to be outside and doesn't mind being on the move a bit. She would actually do best in a home that is active and does not seem to care much for the more sedentary kind of apartment living. Izzy is good with other dogs but would also happily settle into a home with you and yours. She does well in her crate and has great leash skills already and acts like a lady when it comes to using the bathroom in all of the right places. This beagle is bound to keep you active and then head right for nap time when the walks and fun having have been done. She would be a great addition to most any family and needs to be on your "must see" list!
