Story
We got Clementine when she was about 8-9 weeks old from a breeder in Dobson. We wanted a Beagle originally because they are known to do well around kids and families. Clementine has never shown an aggressive side, she has always been great around my 3 and 1 year old. However, we need to rehome her due to our older dog in the home who is very aggressive towards her. We thought once they got used to each other, our older dog would warm up but that hasn’t been the case. I feel bad for keeping them separated all of the time and I just feel like she would flourish is another space. She has occasional accidents but has been doing really well going potty outside. She is kennel trained. She is so loyal and sweet, all she ever wants to do is be pet and cuddled up. I wish there was someway we could keep both of them. However, I don’t want our older dog to traumatize her even more.

Story
Susie Q7 years old 22 poundsBeagle Mix We've searched the world over and we've found the quietest beagle mix in the entire world - Suzie Q. She doesn't bay or howl like most beagles - in fact she's apartment friendly.  This gal is everything you could ask for in a dog - sweet, friendly, gentle, snuggly, and laid back. She loves everyone - dogs, cats and kids of all ages. She is mostly house trained - you may have an occassional accident, but she's made amazing strides while in foster care.  Suzie Q was found in the middle of the road as a stray and thankfully a good samaritian rescued her and got her to us. So we don't know anything about her history. Other than she's an amazing pup. She is laid back and has never met a stranger.  Susie Q's been spayed and will be having a dental in a few days. She's UTD on shots, microchipped and heartworm negative. She was lyme positive, which was likley historical, but we treated her as a precaution. Her new family will need to drive to Raleigh area to adopt her - no transports. We prefer to adopt to NC, VA, SC, northern GA, eastern TN, DC area, WV and southern MD.  ##2223412##

Story
Got my dog from a breeder. He is 8 1/2 close to 9 months. Male. He would be really good with kids or a family who have a lot of time. He loves to play. But just need some social training. Around other dogs he is very playful but jumps on the dog too much. But he still kind of a puppy so that might be it. If he sees something nearby he’ll bowl or bark. But not all the time mostly at night when taking him out. While im at work he in a crate. He seems like he get the idea of not peeing or pooping in the house haven’t had an accident in weeks. So he’s doing good with that but still need more training if left out. He bites a lot of things and will put everything in his mouth😂

Story
Claire is a Beagle mix girl.  The vet estimated her year of birth as 2015, but this little girl still has some puppy energy.  She would be a great addition to any home. Because she's a little older, she would probably be better with older children. She's playful, but would be a great snuggle bunny, too. ~~ Adoption donation $200 . All vetting is up to date. Microchipped and spayed. Also on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Pete Seeger is a sweet, sweet dog.  He's active and enjoys playing, but he's also low key enough to just sit and enjoy being petted.  His vet estimated birth date is April 2023.  If you want a really great family dog, this is the guy for you! ~Adoption donation $300 .
