Story
Eddie was rescued from a Shelter on the day he was to be euthanized. He is a stellar dog! He is about 1 year old, 40 lbs. We think he looks most like a beagle, but mixed with terrier. He is very smart and obedient. He gets along with cats, kids, other dogs and all people. He is house trained and crate trained. He has all of his vet services: neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative and he has a microchip. Please give Eddie a good home. He deserves the best! For more information or an adoption application, contact Nancy Foltz at NEFoltz@Yahoo.com or 704-616-4904.

Story
Pebbles is a darling 4 year old, 27lb Beagle(??) mix. She was rescued from euthanasia for space at an overcrowded county shelter and is looking for her forever home! Pebbles is great in the home. 100% house trained and very good about doing her business in the yard or on walks. She is crate trained and sleeps quietly all night. She is attached to her person and will follow you everywhere if you let her! She is a 10/10 couch snuggler and gives great kisses.Pebbles has a low/medium energy level and is very social. She has met children or various ages in public and does fine with them. She was recently boarded at a doggy daycare and enjoyed getting to play with the other dogs, but can get excited and bark at them when she sees other dogs out in public. She has been introduced to a gentle leader and is doing well, she just needs a little bit more work on her leash skills when she sees other dogs. She has also met a cat and was respectful.Pebbles has a history of small seizures where she gets unstable on her feet. She is completely coherent during them. This happens roughly once a month and she is in the process of getting medicated for this (as of 10.7.24).*********************************Pebbles is located in a foster home. We are happy to coordinate a meet & greet for pre-approved adopters. To get started, please submit an adoption application at https://bit.ly/USAHOTNADOPT2024Adoption process:Potential adopters complete our online application. From there, we contact them to continue the screening process including checking references, vet checks, and a personal phone interview. Upon completion, potential adopters are pre-approved.From there, potential adopters are put in touch with the foster parent(s) of the dog they are interested in adopting. If a specific dog is not in mind, admins will make suggestions based on who we feel will be good candidates for their home. We take the foster's opinions into high consideration when determining ideal fit for an adoption.Once the dog is determined to be a good fit for the adoptive home, the adopter is given advisement on decompression, training, safety gear, and future preventative vetting. The adoption contract is signed and adoption fee paid to finalize the adoption. ##2202898##

Boone is a sweet smart boy. We don’t have time to care for him with our schedules. We just want someone who will keep him inside except for walks to go potty.
