Story
Got my dog from a breeder. He is 8 1/2 close to 9 months. Male. He would be really good with kids or a family who have a lot of time. He loves to play. But just need some social training. Around other dogs he is very playful but jumps on the dog too much. But he still kind of a puppy so that might be it. If he sees something nearby he’ll bowl or bark. But not all the time mostly at night when taking him out. While im at work he in a crate. He seems like he get the idea of not peeing or pooping in the house haven’t had an accident in weeks. So he’s doing good with that but still need more training if left out. He bites a lot of things and will put everything in his mouth😂

Story
We got Clementine when she was about 8-9 weeks old from a breeder in Dobson. We wanted a Beagle originally because they are known to do well around kids and families. Clementine has never shown an aggressive side, she has always been great around my 3 and 1 year old. However, we need to rehome her due to our older dog in the home who is very aggressive towards her. We thought once they got used to each other, our older dog would warm up but that hasn’t been the case. I feel bad for keeping them separated all of the time and I just feel like she would flourish is another space. She has occasional accidents but has been doing really well going potty outside. She is kennel trained. She is so loyal and sweet, all she ever wants to do is be pet and cuddled up. I wish there was someway we could keep both of them. However, I don’t want our older dog to traumatize her even more.

Story
Theo is such a sweetheart. He has never met a stranger and loves pets and rubs from anyone . He is extremely sociable and loves belly rubs. Theo barley barks and when he does its usually because he is frightened or is playing and its the cute beagle howl. He gets along well with other dogs and does amazing with cats. He loves to nap and sleep up under blankets. He likes to sleep on the bed but he is just content if he has to have his own bed. He is such a sweet boy and any family will be lucky to have him as a member.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi … my name is Jack!  I have some special needs because I am super shy and I am a flight risk.  Read my bio to find out everything you need to know about me.   If you think I might be the perfect pup for you, go to www.allamericanmuttrescue.org/forms and complete the adoption application online. We do not have a lot of information on Jack’s past, only that a Good Samaritan rescued this sweet beagle boy from a bad situation.  We have no idea why he is so terrified of people, but we have noted that he is generally less afraid of women and that he is terrified of anyone carrying anything in their hands. Jack is such a handsome boy and it is heartbreaking to see him so scared of everything.  His eyes say it all.  We’re pretty sure there is a lot of love inside this sweet boy that he would like to share with someone.  As scared as he is, he has never shown any aggression towards people. He even went through multiple surgeries to correct cherry eye in both eyes and he was a perfect patient during recovery when he had to wear the awful ‘cone of shame’ and had to have eye drops multiple times every day. Approximate age/birthdate:  May 19 2019 Weight/size:  30 lbs Housebroken:  YES unless he gets scared and piddles Crate trained:  YES Personality: extremely shy, very wary of people, enjoys the company of other dogs Energy level: medium Fenced yard required?:  YES a 6’ physical fence is required, NO EXCEPTIONS, no underground/electric fence. Does he/she jump fences?  He definitely could jump or climb a wire fence or chain link fence.  He did escape from a foster home yard once and it was scary! His current yard has privacy fencing. Leash walk with manners:  YES … once you get a harness on him, he will walk, although hesitantly when he is taken to a new location Obedience training:  NO Riding in vehicles:  RIDES OK      Spayed/neutered:   YES Up-to-date on routine vaccinations:   YES Microchipped:   YES Social with other dogs:  YES Social with cats: NO CATS will be best Good with children:  Will probably be best with respectful, calm children ages 10 and up.  He will often shy away from human touch, so children would need to be mature enough to understand his fear and the responsibilities of keeping him safe. Adoption donation: $175 We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits.  You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references.  Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have multiple applications in process.  We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible. When your application is approved, we will schedule a home visit/meet-and-greet to see if Jack picks you too. If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption fee, and an adoption contract to be signed. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi … my name is Jiggy (or Jigs)! Read my bio to find out everything you need to know about me.   If you think I might be the perfect pup for you, go to www.allamericanmuttrescue.org/forms and complete the adoption application online. Jiggy is a curious little man … a beagle mix for sure, and the mix may include some Jack Russell Terrier.  He is a sweet fella and he can go from curled up under a blanket to searching the yard for invaders in a snap!  He is pretty easy-going unless he thinks there is something around that shouldn’t be there … like a squirrel or a deer or a cat, etc.  He also seems to be a little scared of the dark. When he gets excited and barking, his front legs bounce up and down off the floor.  Sometimes you look in his crate and wonder where he is, and then you see his blanket wiggle just a little. Jiggy has lived with his person until recently when his person’s life changed completely, and he knew it was time to rehome his furry friend.  Jigs has handled moving into foster care very well considering his whole world has turned upside down.  Jigs would do well with a family who has time to spend with him and who will treat him like a family member.  A fenced yard will be great for him so he can get out, off-leash, and explore and get exercise.  He does have some arthritis in his hips and the vet thinks it is probably a congenital issue.  He may need some pain meds from time-to-time, but walking regularly (in moderation) will be good for him.  He has not been around children, but we think he would be OK with respectful children at least 10 years old and older.  With his arthritis, children running at him and trying to roughhouse would be painful and could lead to some nipping … as it would with most dogs. Approximate age/birthdate:  Born Feb 2, 2015 Weight/size:  32 lbs (and it will be better if he can lose a little bit of this) Housebroken:  YES Crate trained:  YES Personality:  happy, friendly, excitable and can be very vocal.  He will not be a great apartment/condo/townhouse dweller. Energy level:  medium (with an occasional burst of high) Fenced yard required?:   Definitely preferred.  He should never be outside, off-leash in an unfenced area.  His beagle nose and his terrier curiosity will take him places he should not go!  And he is fast, arthritis and all! Does he/she jump fences?  NO Leash walk with manners:  YES … when he gets excited or distracted he will try to pull wherever he wants to go! Obedience training:  NO but going to an obedience class would be a great bonding experience and great socialization for Jigs. Riding in vehicles:  RIDES OK      Spayed/neutered:   YES Up-to-date on routine vaccinations:   YES Microchipped:   YES Social with other dogs:  YES.  He does not seem to have had a lot of socialization with other dogs and his interaction with some of them is still a little rough, though we have seen no aggression. Social with cats:  He will bark at cats and chase them if they run, so life will probably be more peaceful with no cats around. Good with children:  Will probably be best with respectful, calm children ages 10 and up.
