Story
A friend gave me Cleo when she was a few months old. I had her spayed and shes up to date on shots but now I’m moving to another apartment that will only allow one dog and I have an older Yorkie that doesn’t get along with her. She is a playful energetic puppy around 11 months old. She just needs love and a new home.

Story
Meet Reeves: The Sweet Beagle Who's Ready to Sniff Out His Forever Home! Calling all beagle lovers! Reeves, our adorable 4-year-old Beagle, has left his past behind and is ready to embark on a new journey filled with love, belly rubs, and maybe a treat or two (or three…he’s a Beagle, after all). Rescued from an Amish puppy mill, Reeves has spent most of his life in a barn, but you’d never guess it from his charming personality. This little guy is neutered, up-to-date on all his vaccines, and a certified pro in snuggling. Seriously, if there were Olympic medals for cuddling, Reeves would bring home the gold every time. Here’s Why Reeves Is a Total Catch: 🐾 Dog's Best Friend: Reeves LOVES other dogs. Whether it’s playtime in the yard or a cozy nap buddy, he’s all in. 🐾 Kid Approved: Reeves is a big fan of kiddos and will happily join them in their adventures (or share their snacks). 🐾 Toy Enthusiast: Squeaky toys? Plushies? Tennis balls? Yes, please! Reeves has never met a toy he didn’t like. 🐾 Crate Trained: He’s perfectly content to chill in his crate when needed, making him an easy addition to your home. A Few Things to Note: The Typical Beagle Nose: Reeves has a strong sense of curiosity and loves to explore the world through his nose. Outdoor supervision is a must—he’s not above following an interesting scent wherever it leads! House Training: He’s making progress but could use a little more guidance and patience as he adjusts to indoor life. Cats: Reeves doesn’t currently live with cats, so we’re not sure how he’d feel about feline friends. Reeves is ready to trade his days in the barn for a spot on your couch (preferably right next to you). If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion with a heart of gold and just a hint of Beagle mischief, Reeves is your guy! Fill out an application to meet Reeves and let this sweet snuggler steal your heart. 🐶❤️

Story
Introducing Penny: The Sweetheart Beagle Who’s Ready to Be Your Best Friend! Penny is a 5-year-old bundle of love with floppy ears, a wagging tail, and a nose that’s always on the hunt for her next adventure! Rescued from an Amish puppy mill, this little lady is ready to leave her past behind and find her forever family. Spayed and up-to-date on all her vaccines, Penny is a total sweetheart who has mastered the art of cuddling. She’s eager to show you just how much love one Beagle can give! She’s 1000% beagle & wants a home that’ll be happy to take her out for lots of the muscle building exercise she’s missed out on so far in life. If you have a fully enclosed yard, she’d be happy to spend hours snoofing around with you & will announce what she finds with her beagle songs! Penny’s Highlights: 🐾 Dog Social Butterfly: Penny adores other dogs! Whether it’s a game of chase or curling up for a group nap, she’s happy to be part of the pack. 🐾 Kid Magnet: Penny has a gentle, loving nature that makes her a great companion for kids—she’s always up for some playtime or quiet snuggles. 🐾 Toy Collector Extraordinaire: Squeaky toys, stuffed animals, chew bones—Penny loves them all and will happily fill your home with her toy collection. 🐾 Crate Comfort: She’s crate trained and views her crate as a cozy little retreat when she needs a break. Things to Keep in Mind: Classic Beagle Traits: Penny’s nose is her compass, and she’ll happily follow it to wherever it leads—so she’ll need close supervision when outside to keep her safe. House Training: Penny is still learning the ropes when it comes to house training. Patience and consistency will help her adjust to indoor life after spending much of her life in a barn. Cats: We’re unsure how Penny feels about cats as she doesn’t currently live with any. Penny is ready to trade her barn days for belly rubs, walks, and a cozy spot on the couch. If you’re looking for a sweet, snuggly companion with a touch of Beagle curiosity, Penny is the perfect match. Apply today to meet Penny and give this lovable girl the home she’s been dreaming of! 🐶💖 kindly give your veterinarian permission to give us a reference before submitting your application & let us know you’ve done so.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi, my name is Lila!! I am a 5-month-old mixed breed puppy. What breed mix am I, you ask, well we think there might be some beagle, maybe some terrier and maybe even some danish farm dog but who knows for sure. What we do know is that I am adorable with all my amazing markings and colors and my foster mom also thinks I am the sweetest girl ever! I am going to be a medium sized pup when I am all grown up and some say that is the perfect size! I am a loyal girl, all the other puppies enjoy playing together in the puppy room, but me, I would rather go searching for where my foster mom went because I love to be her little shadow, wherever she goes I find her. My favorite place in the world is on my foster mom’s lap, you see she says I am her little cuddle bug and I take that job very seriously. When I am not on my cuddling job, I do like to play with my foster siblings and we all get along great! We all like to go outside and explore and guess what, I don’t even mind that white stuff, it is actually kind of fun until I get cold and then the fun is over!! I am crate trained and I sleep in it all night without a peep and I am working on potty training and should have that down in no time because whenever I am good I get one of those amazing things they call treats. So, do you want me to come to your house so you can be my forever family and I can be your forever cuddle bug, I think I would like that, how about you? You can apply for me today at BuffaloCares.org! Love, Lila! You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi, my name is Sunny! I am a 5-month-old mixed breed puppy. What breed mix am I, well we think I might have some beagle, maybe some sort of terrier and maybe even some danish farm dog, which my foster mom has never heard of before, but really who knows for sure. This is what my foster mom says she does know for sure, that I am handsome and I have the biggest beautiful brown eyes, along with the cutest freckles on my nose. My favorite things are playing with my foster siblings, playing with any toy, and I also enjoy chewing on a good bone. I love to romp around in the backyard with my foster siblings and I even discovered that white stuff they call snow. It is fun outside, playing in the snow, but if it is too cold you will find me waiting at the door to come back into the warm house, my foster mom thinks I might need a coat. I am crate trained and sleep in it without a problem, but once I am potty trained I would rather be sleeping with someone who can keep me warm at night, could that be you? My foster mom says I am almost potty trained and I should have it down in no time if I am kept on a schedule and those cookies I get for being a good boy sure do make me want to do good. Although, I love my foster home, foster mom and foster siblings, it is my time to find my very own family so they can love me and I can love them, would you be interested in loving me, I promise to be a good boy!!
