I do love turkey though :) I am Wishbone, and I am a bull terrier/beagle mixed boy with a story to tell! I am so smart like a bull terrier- somewhat stubborn, like a bull terrier, but I follow my NOSE like a beagle! I am super cute, only about 40# and I am pretty active. I love to have a hard playing buddy, no small animals (like kitties) as I have a prey drive- like a bull terrier.. you see where I am going with this, right?? I would love have an active family, kids older than grade school as I love a moving target and smaller ones don't quite understand that. I am a love bug, and once tired out I am the bestest cuddler! Introducing Gambit - the name's not just a coincidence; it's a testament to my ability to shape my destiny. Just like my Marvel/X-Men namesake, I've overcome my past and now look forward to a brilliantly bright future. My journey started in a rather somber place - a lonely field next to a gas station. Thankfully, kind souls would drop by, leaving me food and their hopes for a better life. One day, a persistent and resourceful lady decided to play her "pawn" and orchestrated my escape from that grim existence. Since then, I've been living with her and her doggy (and human) family. But now, I'm eagerly searching for my own forever family. Let's talk quirks. I'm a cheerful guy, but I've got some personal space boundaries. I'm protective of my face, so a home with adults or older, dog-savvy kids is my ideal match. I'm also a bit of a goofball and adore the company of other dogs. Now, I might not instantly become your best buddy; I take time to trust and get comfortable in my surroundings. But trust me, the patience will be worth it. I'm brimming with love and loyalty, just waiting for the right family to share it with. Here's the good news - I'm house and crate trained, proving that, yes, young dogs can indeed learn new tricks. Oh, and there's more - I'm pretty chill around cats, though a gentle introduction is wise. And I've been curious and respectful around a human baby, so that's a plus. One thing to note, though, is that I've had some reservations around men. Despite two years together, I haven't quite warmed up to my human's fianc and have snapped at him a few times. So, it might be best if I find a home without men. During a short stay with Kathy, I was a little shy but kept to myself. If you're looking for a loyal companion with a dash of X-Men flair and you're ready to give me the chance I deserve, let's make it happen. JJ is a one-year-old Beagle/Terrier mix who believes every day is leg day. He gets the zoomies like it's his full-time job and will keep you entertained with his high-speed sprints and Olympic-level leaps (which, unfortunately, include jumping on people—but he's working on it!). He was found as a stray at Southwest High School, and while he may not have attended any classes, he definitely majored in "Being Sweet & Friendly 101." JJ loves everyone, but his true passion is toys. He empties his toy box daily like it's his personal mission—because, well, it is. JJ absolutely NEEDS a doggy roommate. People are great, but another dog? That’s the real dream. He’s happiest when he has a furry friend to wrestle with and a human to snuggle (skin-to-skin contact preferred, no personal space required). His hobbies include: ✔️ Playing fetch (but not always returning the ball) ✔️ Mastering counter-surfing when nobody’s looking ✔️ Testing his chewing skills exclusively on toys (most of the time) ✔️ Riding in the car like an adventure-seeking pup ✔️ Avoiding the kennel like it’s lava JJ is housebroken with a doggy door, leash-trained, and an expert in spreading joy (and maybe a few misplaced toys). Enoch is a Cavalier/Beagle mix, and he will be 5 in April. Enoch needs lots of outdoor time/exercise. Our inconsistent schedules and life with young kids has caused Enoch to lapse sometimes with his house training, but he responds well to consistency - adopter will need to be able to give him this consistency. Enoch is a fairly gentle love hound, but he can be spastic and jumps a lot, so we have kept him largely away from our kids. Enoch is not a lap dog but loves to be petted and to play. Enoch passed first level of Petco obedience training. Enoch almost never does the beagle "bay" but has a loud bark.

Lucas was rescued a few months ago in Puerto Rico in an abandoned home that he shared with many other abandoned dogs. In spite of his neglect he was resilient and funny and very friendly from the day he arrived in foster! He is about two years old and he gets along with other dogs so well! He is a bit of a show off, doing silly frog legged stretches to get attention as well as rolling around on his back begging for belly rubs. He is very friendly and is housebroken! He is about 38 pounds and very short legged...like a walking cinder block, haha! Lucas will arrive in Albion, NY in mid March and we would love to have a family waiting for him! Our adoption fee is $400 and unless otherwise stated all dogs and puppies have been spayed/neutered, 4DX tested(if age appropriate), Put on heartworm/flea/tick prevention, age appropriately vaccinated, dewormed, vet checked and flown from Puerto Rico.
