Story
** Current location: in a foster home in South Korea ** Say hi to OhGong👋 a sweet, friendly boy with a charming black muzzle! He was found on the street in South Korea at 3 months old and taken to a high-risk city shelter along with his five other siblings. Luckily, they were rescued right before euthanasia by the rescue team and started living with other dogs in the local shelter. Despite some time spent at the shelter, Ohgong was given a chance to live in his current foster home in June 2023. His current foster family has been taking good care of him since, and Ohgong has learned how to harmoniously live with people with love, and now he is ready to find his forever home😊 • Personality: Friendly, Sweet, Gentle Just like when OhGong was widely known for his super friendly personality among the shelter staff, he continued to be very loving and sweet to his foster family. He loves to kiss you and be petted by you. His energy level is medium. He is usually calm at home but becomes active when playing with toys! Plus, he is such a gentle walker. • Affinity with - Dogs: Very dog-friendly! He doesn’t even bark towards other dogs. - Cats: He tends to chase cats out of curiosity but doesn’t show aggression. - Adults/Kids: Good with people in general but a little bit shy around male adults / Okay with kids. He is rather indifferent to them. • Walking Manners: Super well-mannered! Pacing with his person without pulling the leash. He responds to “Let’s go” while sniffing around. • Housetrained: Fully housebroken, going potty outdoors as well as using pee-pads indoors • Bathing/Brushing: Tolerates both very well. • Car Rides: Very comfortable with car rides. • Separation Anxiety: None. He showed some signs of separation anxiety at the beginning of foster, but not anymore when two months of foster passed. He spends most of his time sleeping while he is left alone at home. • Barks/Howls: Almost none. Just a little bit of barking only when greeting his family at home. • Appetite/Food Allergies: No allergies. • Likes/Dislikes: OhGong LOOOVES playing with toys, especially squeaky ones! He seems to even prefer toys to treats. • Shedding level (1~10): 5-6

Story
Can you Bee-lieve how cute this little guy is? We sure can’t! 🐝 Introducing Bee, the Beagle mix with the most perfect eyebrows we’ve ever seen! Bee is 1-year-old and weighs 19 pounds. He has the adorable signature tri-color markings of a Beagle, complete with white whiskers and tiny freckles on his legs. Bee was rescued from a kill shelter in Swainsboro, Georgia, and he is so happy to have a second chance at a forever home full of life, love, and goodness. Bee is a bit shy at first. He is very calm and sweet. Bee adores being held and would happily spend all his time in your arms, on your lap, curled up by your side, and just generally being around you. He feels most safe when he’s being snuggled. And really, who can resist that perfect face? Bee appreciates walks around town, to the park, or through the neighborhood to continue learning and exploring. Bee would love a family of any shape and size—one human or many, other cats, dogs, and kids, he’d truly feel at home and loved with any family dynamic. Bee is ready to join your hive and be the sweet as honey addition your family is waiting for! Bee will be ready to go home on 1/3/25. Bee is neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and microchipped. **Please note: completing an "adoption inquiry" via Adopt-a-pet/Petfinder does not constitute an HFG Dog Rescue adoption application. Story
This beautiful warrior princess is ready to settle in to her loving forever home with a new family. Meet Xena, a gorgeous Beagle mix with a stunning white and tan coat and the cutest floppy ears. Xena is 1.5 years old and weighs 25 pounds. She was rescued from a kill shelter in Swainsboro, Georgia, but she hasn’t let her scary past keep her from being the sweetest lovebug. Xena is eager to find a happy ever after to her fairytale, and she will be ready for adoption on January 17! Xena is a bit shy, but she doesn’t let it stop her from showing so much love and affection. She adores curling up for cuddles with her human friends, especially around their legs. She also loves to hunker down and crawl everywhere, giving us endless giggles at her silliness. She is working on her training and doing well with leash walking and sitting on command. Perhaps you could incentivize her with belly rubs, which are her most favorite thing in the world. Xena is ready to work on growing her confidence and finding puppy joy in a home that will love her and give her all the attention she deserves. Xena would do well in a home with other dogs, cats, and kids, preferring the company of a playmate or human who can be her source of comfort as she settles in. Xena is a darling girl who deserves the world, and we are so excited to see her flourish in her future forever. Come meet her soon and see if she’s the girl for you! Xena is spayed, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and microchipped. **Please note: completing an "adoption inquiry" via Adopt-a-pet/Petfinder does not constitute an HFG Dog Rescue adoption application. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Online Adoption Application These girls were all hound mommas living in Louisanna.  The all lived with no owner in some swampy area field and all needed to be trapped with their babies to find a better life and brought to NJ.  They are all heartworm positive and we are treating them for that.  All are spayed and up to date on shots.  These girls are shy but very sweet,  loves other dogs and are very gentle with everyone.  Great with housebreaking no accidents in the house but you have to let them out.  They love sitting in the sun.  Any family would be very lucky to adopt one or maybe two of them as they love each other as well.  They love food and treats,  just shake the treats and they all run right in.  These girls all have my heart,  but I obviously can not keep them all.  LOL.  They are small hound girls about 35 lbs. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 4, 2024, 10:44 pm
