Meet Stacy: Small Body, Big Heart Say hello to Stacy, a beautiful 1-year-old girl who proves that big love really does come in small packages. At just 30 pounds fully grown, Stacy may be petite, but she’s strong, spirited, and full of life. Her journey began as a stray on the streets of Florida, until a kind soul stepped in to help her find safety—and now she’s headed north, ready for a forever home of her own. Stacy can be a little shy when first meeting new people, but it doesn’t take long for her sweet personality to shine. Once she feels comfortable, she’s all about kisses, belly rubs, and soaking up affection. She’s lightning fast and absolutely *loves* to run, so a fenced yard where she can show off her zoomies would be a dream come true. But she’s not too picky, a living room for zoomies would do just fine! This clever girl is smart and eager to learn. She’s strong for her size and may pull at first on leash, but quickly settles into a nice walking pace and would do great with continued training. She enjoys playtime—especially chasing a ball (returning it is optional, of course!)—and her foster suspects she’s already house trained. She’s also got a refined palate and clearly knows what she likes when it comes to food! Stacy is looking for an active, loving home that understands her playful energy and is ready to build a bond with her. Because she can be jumpy when excited, she may be a bit much for very small children, and she’s not a match for a home with cats.   Meet Raymond, a remarkably handsome 3-year-old Beagle mix with a gentle heart and an old soul. At 44 pounds, he’s the perfect medium-sized companion—big enough for warm hugs, small enough for couch cuddles. Raymond’s world has recently been turned upside down. His loving family—mom, dad, and a busy, affectionate two-year-old toddler—lost their home due to financial hardship. As they move in with relatives, Raymond isn’t allowed to go. Through no fault of his own, this sweet boy will be homeless starting Thanksgiving. Critter Cavalry stepped in to give him safety and a promise: we will find this special dog the family he deserves. And make no mistake—Raymond is pure family dog magic. He adored his toddler, patiently soaking up loud giggles, sticky hands, surprise hugs, and busy playtime. His gentle nature and steady temperament make him a uniquely trustworthy companion for children and adults alike. Raymond is also wonderfully trained. He knows how to sit, shake, come when called, and crate up when asked. He loves playing fetch—bringing the ball back every time with a proud little smile—as if his greatest joy is simply making his people happy. He walks beautifully on leash, is fully housebroken, and has the most polite manners. If Raymond were human, he’d be the dad grilling in the backyard, cheering at kids’ soccer games, fixing squeaky doors, and making sure everyone in the house feels loved and safe. That’s just who he is. He doesn’t understand why he lost the only family he’s ever known—especially right as the holidays approach—but he’s handling it with grace, sweetness, and so much hope.
