Story
My name is Bingo! Although I'm named after Paw Patrol you sure win with me, BINGO! I was the shyest of my litter, but have blossomed and my confidence has really come out. I get wiggle tail when foster human siblings call me and I come running. I'm a bit of foodie and love treats and playing with dogs. My leash skills are pretty good for a puppy and I'm house trained! I love other dogs and playing with toys and friends! If you are interested in my please complete the application. I am located in San Antonio, TX, but my adoption fee includes transport. I come fully vetted to age, fixed, microchipped and will get a health certificate before I travel if adopted out of state

Story
This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $100 if picked up in TN, $175 plus transport fee for out of state adoptions. Meet Justin, the 2.5 to 3-year-old Beagle mix who's as sweet and affectionate as they come! Weighing in at a sturdy 28 pounds, Justin strikes the perfect balance between energy and chill vibes. He's always ready for a walk or a playful chase, but also loves nothing more than to lounge around with his favorite humans. One of Justin's most charming traits is how attentive he is to your voice. He thrives on pets and praise, and he's a gentleman at mealtimes, never begging or bothering at the table. Justin knows his "sit" command and is housetrained, making him an easy addition to a Beagle-experienced household. This lovable guy is crate trained; however, he is no longer crated overnight in his foster home.  He adores going for walks, especially when there's a chance to track some rabbits. Justin gets along well with other dogs and even goats! Justin is a friendly soul, winning hearts wherever he goes. While he’s not the biggest fan of car rides, he fares much better when he can sit with his person instead of being crated. After a good dose of exercise, he's perfectly happy to join you for a cozy couch session. Justin is looking for a home with a fenced yard where he can safely explore and play. He has strong hunting instincts, so he's best suited for someone who understands the Beagle spirit and can provide the structure he needs. If you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving companion who’s always eager to please, Justin is your guy!    Interested in adopting? Take the first step and complete an adoption application on our website: http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-apps/ If you have questions that are not covered in the profile, visit the Pet Inquiry Form: http://aarf-tn.com/contact/pet-inquiry-form/. THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $180. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents. A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. November 17, 2024, 5:29 pm

Story
Meet Willy, our 1-year-old Beagle with a zest for life and a nose that never quits! This curious boy is the epitome of a classic Beagle—always sniffing, exploring, and following the trail wherever it leads. Willy has previously lived with another dog and seems to enjoy canine companionship, but cats or small animals aren’t his cup of tea. At home, he likes to settle into his crate for some relaxation, even though he’s not fully crate-trained yet. Being young, Willy’s natural curiosity means he’s still in his chewing phase, so he’ll thrive in a home that can provide him with plenty of chew toys and redirection to keep him entertained. His playful side comes with a classic Beagle bay that will bring a smile to any Beagle lover’s face! Willy will do best with someone ready to give him the guidance he needs, along with lots of exercise and opportunities to satisfy his hound instincts. If you’re looking for an energetic, loyal companion to join you on outdoor adventures, Willy might be the perfect match! If you are interested in meeting Willy please visit our adoption center located at 101 West Swanzey Rd. We are open 11-3 Thursday through Sunday.

Story
Beagle mixCharlie was born December 8, 2021 to a Cocker Spaniel mom and Beagle dad. He is completely crate trained, and working on house training since he has been in his foster mom’s home. Charlie walks great on a leash, but like any typical Beagle, his nose never leaves the ground. He is extremely sweet natured, and plays well with his four legged foster siblings. If given the chance, Charlie will chase cats. Please send us your phone number if you would like to hear more about Charlie. November 2, 2024, 2:03 pm

Story
*Due to state laws regarding out of state adoptions, we cannot adopt to families in Massachusetts or Rhode Island.* Nita is a 1 year old Beagle mix hoping for a home with lots of treats and people to tell her what a pretty girl she is (she may be just a little vain).  Listed breed and age is an educated guess made by our veterinarian and is NOT a guarantee - this also means we have no way of knowing what a puppy's adult size will be. This dog is currently being fostered in Mississippi and will be transported via Barton's Barkers transport services upon adoption. Their adoption fee is $500 and includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, a nose to tail vet check, microchip and transport costs. Second Chances lists dogs as being available in White River Junction, VT because we transport our dogs to the area every 3rd week after they have been adopted. All of our local shelters have a high euthanasia rate due to overpopulation so we created our rescue group to primarily adopt to the northern states to help keep as many dogs as we can from entering our kill shelters.   ##1854401##
