Our dog Mimo is one of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet. He is 4 yrs old and is super energetic so a big back yard and/or lots of walks work best. He is fantastic with my kids and loves to play fetch. He does jump up on people sometimes but not in an aggressive way - he is just always looking to play or for a good ear and tummy scratch. Given the hound background he makes an excellent guard dog since he hears things from a good distance! He is so sweet and would make the perfect addition to any home with a little patience given his energy and playfulness. We are sad to have to give him away due to relocation but hopeful he will find another loving fur-ever home!

He does great with dogs and cats and would make a wonderful companion for a family or someone that is looking for a best friend. Mork is a pretty chill dude who keeps his kennel clean and is quiet and polite. He is so charming and will be sure to make anyone he meets fall in love. Mork is around 40 pounds at just under a year old. Midwest Animal ResQ offers a 30-day adjustment period within which you can evaluate the pet's progress and your adoption decision. If, within those 30 days, you determine your recently adopted pet isn't a good fit, you may return the animal and receive a MARQ credit that can be used toward the adoption of another animal. Our biggest priority is finding the very best match for you, and Completing Families one Tail at a Time! All dogs are spayed or neutered, microchipped, Heartworm tested, and current on vaccinations and preventatives prior to adoption. Our shelter is located at 10312 East 63rd Street in Raytown, MO. We are open to meet pets Tuesday through Friday from 10-6, and on Saturday and Sunday from 10-5. We are closed on Mondays.

She is currently in a foster home where she is the gentlest, snuggliest girl who is always up to do anything that involves being with her humans. She is housetrained and overall has great manners. Little Debbie is a calm, gentle, trustworthy gal that likes to be around humans of all ages. She walks great on leash and just wants to do everything with her people. We are a matched based adoption agency, if you see a dog in our program in which you are interested in adopting, please fill out our online application at kcpaws.org and one of our adoptions counselors will be in touch once your application has been screened. Please note that we do require dogs to meet all members of the family including existing pets in the home before finalizing during your in home adoption. Age: 1 year Weight: 30 lbs Meet Skittles! Skittles came to the PAWS program as a dumped dog with not one but TWO cherry eyes! Her vision was blocked and she was so uncertain of the world. We quickly got Skittles in to surgery to remove those, and now she can see better AND she is loving life. Skittles is a very friendly girl with lots of energy and would be a great fit for an active home. She loves to play and goes out in play groups daily with dogs of all sizes. She bonds fiercely to her people and is the biggest snuggle bug, but can be shy with kids so older kiddos are preferred for her future family. She is very athletic and able to clear fences, so she will need to be monitored in the yard in her new home. Angelheart is totally an onion. Soo many layers! :) She is sassy, cuddly, protective, bossy, and loves to run. She turned 5 in January and we've had her since age was 8 weeks old. She's had puppy training and knows commands such as sit, stay, down, find it, come and other words she learned on her own like treat, toy, dinner, eat, etc. She is driven by her nose and can be food possessive. This super smart chic loves training and would be great for someone who wants to do agility or just continue with general training. We love ger to bits, but need to rehome her because she is not good with kids or younger teens. Full disclosure she has bitten my daughter. Generally, she is a sweet, fun girl who needs a home with active adults, or a good sized yard, and no other dogs. She is a diva, but oh so worth it. The adoption fee includes portable kennel, basket of toys and supplies (ear drops, poop bags, shampoo, etc).
