Story
Hi there! My name is Lainey! Aren't I just the most adorable girl? I was rescued by Beagle Freedom Project after being hit by a car and dumped at a high-kill animal shelter. Luckily, I've recovered beautifully since the accident and I am absolutely thriving! I amy have a little bit of a wiggly walk sometimes because of my previous injuries, but that doesn't slow me down at all-- especially when it comes to keeping up with you! I adore people and always want to be by my person's side. I'm a total cuddle bug and always eager to snuggle! My favorite place on earth is your lap! I love neck and ear scratches, and if you rub my belly, I'll roll right over to enjoy every moment! I'm a sweet and social girl who will love accompanying you everywhere-- errands to run? I'm in! Camping trip? I'll be there! As long as I'm with you, I'm happy. I do well with other pups of all sizes but would prefer to be the only dog in the home so I can soak up all of your attention. I'm looking for an adopter that wants the best and most loyal companion-- could you give me my furever home? I would prefer a home that has: No other dogs (I do well with other pups, but would prefer to soak up all of my adopter's attention!), Adults-Only and/or older children 8+ (I get scared when small children cry or make sudden/loud noises!) My location: LOS ANGELES, CA *Please note that third-party sites like PetFinder or Adopt-a-Pet may sometimes list multiple locations for the same animal. My correct and current location is the one listed directly above!* If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an adoption application at https://bfp.org/adopt/ Please email the Beagle Freedom Project Team with questions at: adopt@bfp.org. Story
Hi, I'm Lee! I'm a super friendly and loving boy that adores people so much it makes me get the zoomies!!! Even though I'm a happy boy now, I haven't always been this way... For the majority of my life, I lived in a tiny cage at an animal testing laboratory and was subjected to painful experiments every day. Now that I've been rescued by Beagle Freedom Project, I am loving my new life! Despite everything that I've been through, I am such a joyous dog now. I do well with other friendly dogs, too! I am active and playful and my ideal forever home will be one with lots of fun adventures and play opportunities! I promise to be the most loyal and loving companion ever for my adopter. Could you give me my forever home? My ideal home has: Adults only (or older children!), no other animals (I want all of your attention!), lots of love! My location: NOWATA, OK *Please note that third-party sites like PetFinder or Adopt-a-Pet may sometimes list multiple locations for the same animal. My correct and current location is the one listed directly above!* *Beagle Freedom Project facilitates out-of-state adoptions, provided the adopter is able to travel to the animal's current location for pickup.* If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an adoption application at https://bfp.org/adopt/ Please email the Beagle Freedom Project Team with questions at: adopt@bfp.org. Hi there! I'm Cookie, a super sweet and loving beagle boy! I'm such a happy pup; don't you just love my adorable and silly smile? I spent the majority of my life in an animal testing laboratory where I was subjected to painful experiments. Did you know that animal testing involves experimentation on dogs like me? I'm so thankful to have been rescued by Beagle Freedom Project, because now I'm starting to thrive! I can be a little nervous at first, but once i trust you, I'll be sure give you lots of affection and engage in some goofy playtime! I have a moderate energy level, so I'll make a great adventure buddy or perfect snuggle companion. I'll do best in a home where I can be your one and only animal as other dogs and cats seem to scare me. I hope an adopter notices me soon! Sometimes, I still have bad dreams about my time in the laboratory and wake up feeling so scared... could you give me my forever home so that I'll know no one will ever hurt me again? I would prefer a home that has: No other animals (I want to get all of your attention!), adults-only (or older children!), lots of love!
