Story
Maggie was originally rescued by us, turning 3 in December 2024. She is up to date on vaccines, receives heartworm/flea/tick prevention regularly, and sees her vet routinely. No significant medical history. We adore Maggie- she is incredibly cuddly and loves to be loved. She can be playful and is trained well with walks and an unfenced yard. Unfortunately, Maggie does not get along with our senior dog since having our son. With another baby almost here, we cannot give Maggie the home and freedom she deserves. She is used to sleeping in our bed but being left in her crate when we are not home. Maggie obeys rules and is great with children.

Story
Hi, I'm Lee! I'm a super friendly and loving boy that adores people so much it makes me get the zoomies!!! Even though I'm a happy boy now, I haven't always been this way... For the majority of my life, I lived in a tiny cage at an animal testing laboratory and was subjected to painful experiments every day. Now that I've been rescued by Beagle Freedom Project, I am loving my new life! Despite everything that I've been through, I am such a joyous dog now. I do well with other friendly dogs, too! I am active and playful and my ideal forever home will be one with lots of fun adventures and play opportunities! I promise to be the most loyal and loving companion ever for my adopter. Could you give me my forever home? My location: NOWATA, OK *Please note that third-party sites like PetFinder or Adopt-a-Pet may sometimes list multiple locations for the same animal. My correct and current location is the one listed directly above!* If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an adoption application at https://bfp.org/adopt/ Please email the Beagle Freedom Project Team with questions at: adopt@bfp.org. Story
Hi there! I'm Cookie, a super sweet and loving beagle boy! I'm such a happy pup; don't you just love my adorable and silly smile? I spent the majority of my life in an animal testing laboratory where I was subjected to painful experiments. Did you know that animal testing involves experimentation on dogs like me? I'm so thankful to have been rescued by Beagle Freedom Project, because now I'm starting to thrive! I can be a little nervous at first, but once i trust you, I'll be sure give you lots of affection and engage in some goofy playtime! I have a moderate energy level, so I'll make a great adventure buddy or perfect snuggle companion. I'll do best in a home where I can be your one and only animal as other dogs and cats seem to scare me. I hope an adopter notices me soon! Sometimes, I still have bad dreams about my time in the laboratory and wake up feeling so scared... could you give me my forever home so that I'll know no one will ever hurt me again? I would prefer a home that has: no other animals, adults-only, lots of love! My location: NOWATA, OK *Please note that third-party sites like PetFinder or Adopt-a-Pet may sometimes list multiple locations for the same animal.
