Story
Age: 10 years Weight: 30lbs Good with dogs? Would like to be the only dog Good with cats? No Good with kids? No Energy Level: Moderate Adoption Fee: $200.00 Any other info: Meet Bo. This sweet senior boy has found himself sitting in a scary shelter at the age of 10 and he's not loving it. He was adopted from us as a puppy 10 years ago but unfortunately was just recently returned. Bo is a sweet boy but he does not do well with strangers in his home so he's looking for a low traffic home with someone to love him for the rest of his days. His previous owners said Bo was a perfect dog 99% of the time but he gets very worked up into a frenzy when people come to the house and acts out. He can be very fearful of new people and other animals. Bo would love to be in a calmer home. Being afraid of strangers and other animals makes living his life in a shelter pretty difficult. He would love to be someone's baby and best friend. Bo is a very distinguished gentleman with sweet soulful eyes, a super adorable scruffy face and a happy smile. He is very sweet when you go slow with him and once he knows he is safe with you, he is a friendly, affectionate, cuddle bug of a boy. The shelter is no place for a senior so please help us help him! Share his story far and wide. We know there is the perfect home out there for Bo and we won't stop until we find them. He is house trained and potty trained and food is the way to his heart, although he's too nervous to eat much right now. Bo is 10 years old, neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and kept on prevention here with us. He will also be starting some medications for anxiety to help him get through this stressful time and he should probably stay on them for the rest of his life to help his transition. If you have the perfect low traffic home and are looking for a sweet senior boy in need of a family, don't wait, please apply through the link below. https://form.jotform.com/201977724595065 Once your application is processed and approved, our adoptions team will reach out to schedule an in person meet and greet with Bo. ------------------------------------------------ Our adoption fees include the pets spay or neuter, microchip, up to date vaccines, heartworm/tick disease testing and fecal check. All adoption fees can be found on our groups' Petfinder page. The first step to our adoption process is to please fill out and adoptions application, it can be found on our website www.serenityanimalhospital.net, under the "Adopt From Us" Tab. Please email the application to adoptions@serenityanimalhospital.net or drop it off in person during our business hours. Any questions regarding our adoptable dogs can be emailed along with your application. Please allow us a few days to contact you about your application as we do get many in on a daily basis. We do our best to provide information that will help determine if the animal might be a good fit for you. Please note that behaviors may change in a home environment. We also ask our applicants to assume that any animal they adopt from us will need to be potty-trained and learn house manners, although this is not always the case. In most cases, the listed breeds are also a best guess. Our online animal bios are designed to provide as much information as possible and answer some anticipated questions. We do not have the resources to respond to emails with more specific questions. We are receiving an unusually high number of applications at this time! Applications are reviewed as they are received, but we do not select adopters on a first-come basis. Our job is to ensure each pet is placed into the best fit home for them and that adopters are paired with an animal that is a good fit for their lifestyle. All animals will stay online until they are “pending adoption”. Therefore, if an animal is still listed, we are still accepting applications for him/her! Please do not send inquiries about a specific animal's availability as this can change quickly over the course of the day. The fastest way to get a response is to simply submit an application! We will do our best to notify you by email if the pet(s) you are interested in are no longer available. New animals are posted daily, so please let us know if another furry friend peaks your interest (there is no need to fill out a second application)! It could take up to a couple of weeks for you to receive a final disposition on your application so there is no need to check on the status.-Introductions will be scheduled by appointment only, 30 minutes per appointment. The entire household, including current dogs, must be present for the appointment. (Note: Please do not bring your dogs if you are meeting cats!). The introductions will take place outside in our parking lot (or in our cat room if you're meeting cats).-We will perform vet checks for current and prior pets in the household.-Finalizing the adoption will also be scheduled by appointment.Thank you for your understanding.

Story
The day after Christmas some Grinch dropped off these 5 beautiful babies at the Speedway gas station. They were only about 9-weeks old - barely able to be without their mamma, who was not with them. Two little girls and 3 little boys. ♥️ The wonderful people at the gas station took the box in from the cold and called around to find help. Of course, one of our fosters stepped right up! They have now been fully vetted. They have all their age appropriate vaccinations, have been spayed/neutered and microchipped and they are now ready to go to their forever homes! If you would like to add one of these babies, please respond by tapping the big black button marked " Ask About Me" and we will send you an application. These puppies are being fostered in TN but included in your adoption fee is transport to a location near you by Rescue Riders Pet Transport.

Story
Hunter is a 9 yr old retired rabbit hunter that has fully left his hunting life behind and completely adapted to house life. There are endless great things to say about him! He is calm and gentle and loves cuddling. Hunter would like a home that will let him sleep in bed with them and relax on the couch while they watch TV. Hunter has learned potty training extremely quickly! He is very submissive and great with other dogs and gentle with cats. He’s not excitable nor high energy but he is happy and friendly. He will quietly stay in a crate, but wouldn’t need to as he’s such a gentleman in the house. Hunter is neutered, UTD on all vaccines, UTD on deworming and flea preventative, heartworm negative, and is microchipped. During hunters neuter, the vets found he has a grade 3 heart murmur. He has since received a full echocardiogram by a board certified cardiologist who confirmed evidence of early heart disease. Hunter is not currently symptomatic, nor did the cardiologist believe he requires any treatment at this time. They did suggest he stay on a healthy diet and be checked again in a year or so. His adoption fee is $250.

Story
Precious little Daisy is looking for a quiet home where she can be best friends with her human. Daisy is a laid back girl that prefers a chill environment. She enjoys napping on the couch and cuddling with people, and would love to have a home where she can sleep in bed with her person. Daisy is mostly low energy but she does enjoy sniffing fun things in the yard and occasionally barking at a squirrel outside, etc. She’d has also enjoyed car rides and walks to the lake. She would love a fenced in yard to play in but she is trained to a long tie which works well for her. (She is not an off leash dog). For the most part, Daisy does just fine with other dogs, but she does get anxious when other dogs are too excitable so she would prefer a home as an only dog or with an older, laid back, submissive type dog. She currently lives with many other dogs, but I believe she would be happier with much less excitement. She is completely fine with cats and children. Daisy is 5 yrs old and is potty trained and crate trained. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines, deworming, and flea/tick preventive. Her adoption fee is $350.

DOB 11/03/24 Working on housetraining High energy ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS! Hi there I'm Ross the newest member of the Midwest BREW family! We are super cute and full of energy! Our foster mom has been taking good care of us and we are loving being loved on and cared for. Soon we will be ready to find our own furever homes. Will it be with you? If you want a warm, soft, cuddly, and full-of-energy bundle of joy in your life, fill out an adoption application or contact your Midwest BREW adoption counselor right away! NOTE: Dog may be located in any of our six volunteer states (WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, MI). ---------------------------- Please read our Standards for Adoption and the information about beagles and puppies before you submit an adoption application. Remember that owning a puppy is a full time commitment and you must have the time to commit to a dog that will be with you for 12-17 years. Beagle puppies are cute - but they are very challenging. Puppies may eat your apartment (no refund of security deposit); people who are gone for more than 5 hours at a time will need to make dog walker, neighbor or doggie daycare arrangements. We discourage the adoption of puppies to families with children under the age of six, since puppies will chew toys, shoes, blankets, hands, feet and other important parts of your child's anatomy
