Story
Meet Jasper, a 31lb, 3-year-old Beagle with a heart as big as his curiosity! This handsome boy is neutered, calm, and quiet, making him the perfect companion for a relaxed home. Jasper is a little shy at first, but offer him a treat, and he’ll warm up quickly. True to his Beagle nature, he loves sniffing everything—your home, the world, and maybe even your snacks! Sudden movements or loud noises can startle him, so a calm environment is ideal for this sweet boy. He’s great in the car, crate-trained, and does well in his crate. Jasper is dog-friendly but prefers smaller dogs, as larger ones can make him nervous. Once Jasper gets to know you, he’ll melt your heart! He loves being petted, especially on his head and chin and will wag his tail when he sees you. When he’s not following you around the house, he’s happy to relax in his crate on his own. Jasper would thrive in a quiet home with patient people who can give him time to adjust. He’d be happy as an only dog or with a gentle furry sibling to show him how to play with toys. If you’re looking for a sweet, loving companion who’s ready to become your loyal shadow, Jasper is the one for you! Give this handsome boy the forever home he deserves. If you are interested in finding out more about Jasper, please fill out an adoption application by copying and pasting the following link into your browser: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/BRO/Dog Jasper is being fostered in Cambridge, MA. The adoption fee is $400. Like Broken Tail Rescue on Facebook!. Follow Broken Tail Rescue on Instagram! Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs, we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label. We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.

Story
Meet Daisy the Beagle! Daisy is approximately 12 years old, 24 lbs currently, and she is a Beagle mix! She was surrendered when her elderly owner could no longer care for her. In her foster home, she is working hard on her house-training, crate training, and leash walking. She could go to a home with kids 5+, cats, and other dogs. Her foster says, `Daisy is such a social butterfly that we could not keep her downstairs with the other retirement pups. Nope. She wanted to be the life of the party on the play yard. Every time we went outside, she wanted to join us on the adventure. At the end of the day, she was still right there to get some love and snuggles before bedtime.`She is available for adoption in N Dartmouth on February 14th. Please fill out an application on our website at https://www.browndogcoalition.com/adoptable as a first step.-Dogs may not be given as gifts or surprises.-Please thoughtfully discuss with your entire household the physical, safety, financial and emotional responsibilities of a dog BEFORE applying to adopt.- More information about our adoption process, application and adoption fees can be found at browndogcoalition.com
