Story
Meet Daisy the Beagle! Daisy is approximately 12 years old, 24 lbs currently, and she is a Beagle mix! She was surrendered when her elderly owner could no longer care for her. In her foster home, she is working hard on her house-training, crate training, and leash walking. She could go to a home with kids 5+, cats, and other dogs. Her foster says, `Daisy is such a social butterfly that we could not keep her downstairs with the other retirement pups. Nope. She wanted to be the life of the party on the play yard. Every time we went outside, she wanted to join us on the adventure. At the end of the day, she was still right there to get some love and snuggles before bedtime.`She is available for adoption in Hopkinton or Belmont, MA by appointment with an approved adopter. Please fill out an application on our website at https://www.browndogcoalition.com/adoptable as a first step.-Dogs may not be given as gifts or surprises.-Please thoughtfully discuss with your entire household the physical, safety, financial and emotional responsibilities of a dog BEFORE applying to adopt.- More information about our adoption process, application and adoption fees can be found at browndogcoalition.com

Story
This is nut your average litter! Acorn, Almond, Cashew, Coconut, Macadamia, Peanut, Pecan, Pignoli, Pistachio, and Walnut are a bunch of mixed nuts who are ready to crack you up. Just like their amazing mama Hazel, these beagles are playful, affectionate, and full of puppy mischief. Whether they’re tumbling around with their siblings, giving the best puppy kisses, or curling up for a cozy nap, these pups are — in a nutshell — pure perfection. If you’re ready to go a little nuts for a new best friend, one of these pups just might be the peanut to your butter! As puppies, they will need someone who is home for most of the day to provide a lot of attention and consistent expectations. Puppy classes and training are a must to ensure that they grow up to be a well behaved and loyal companions. They would do best in a home with kids 5+. Apply to adopt at browndogcoalition.com/adoption!Puppies will be dewormed multiple times, have had a wellness visit and their first distemper shot prior to adoption. A refundable pay/neuter surgery deposit of $250 is required. The surgery will be coordinated and paid for by BDC and done at Tufts in Grafton or another of our partner vets by six months of age, so adopters must be willing to comply with this MA regulation and be within driving distance of Grafton.-Puppies may not be given as gifts or surprises. -Please thoughtfully discuss with your entire household the physical, safety, financial and emotional responsibilities of a puppy BEFORE applying to adopt. - More information about our adoption process, application and adoption fees can be found at browndogcoalition.com

Story
Meet Beau! Beau is about 9 months old, 31 lbs, and he likely is a Beagle! Beau was adopted by elderly people and was too much puppy for them. In his foster home, he is working hard on his house-training, crate training, and leash walking. He could go to a home with kids 10+ and other active dogs. Beau has shown that he is a little over the top for most cats. Beau is high energy and would benefit from other dogs and a fenced in yard. His foster says, `This handsome boy has kept us in stitches while he has been staying with us! He has definitely been a thief around here stealing hearts as well as remote controls and even a cellphone where even he managed to call emergency services one day! He will serenade you with “the song of his people” while he waits for his pup cup at your local coffee shop drive through! He is a super sweet copilot on car rides and will place his paw on your arm or snuggle in and rest his head on your shoulder. He ADORES other dogs and is learning more and more each day “how to dog” from his new foster fur friends! He does great in his crate, he loves walks at the park where he can put his beagle nose to good use sniffing all of the new scents he finds. He is working hard on his potty training and is very treat motivated! Beau has such a fun, happy and entertaining personality with just the right mix of sweetness! He’s still learning the ropes of how this life thing all works and can’t wait to find an active family who will continue to help him grow!`He is available for adoption in N Dartmouth on March 14th.
