Meet MISSY! Missy is an adorable, sweetheart! Look at that smile on her beautiful tricolor face with the expressive bicolor eyes! She is about 4-5 year old, 45 pound, white/tan/black beagle/hound mix. Missy loves to go for walks; she does very well in new situations, likes to cuddle and gives sweet "kisses" to her humans. If you are looking for a very sweet, happy dog, Missy may be the one for you! Missy found herself through no fault of her own in a rural North Carolina shelter. Poor Missy did not understand why no one came to get her and she had lost the comforts of a home. PetConnect came to her rescue and brought her to the DC area to find her new home. Missy seems to understand housetraining, is crate trained, and gets along great with other dogs. She would be a great companion. While Missy settles down nicely to hang out, she also has can be playful. She will need exercise, patience and reinforcement of training to continue to be the well-behaved dog she can be. Missy would be a great companion to curl up at your feet on a cool fall evening. ***Please note that the first step is to fill out an application (It does not commit you in anyway but allows us to discuss with you if you and the dog are a good fit).
