Story
Hi everyone my name is Gretchen and I am a three to four-year-old purebred Beagle girl that weighs 35 lb and I found myself homeless in a small town in Tennessee. People said that I was roaming the neighborhood for a while and no one knew who I belonged to. The shelter found Critter Cavalry Rescue to take me and I am looking for a home with a retired man because Critter Cavalry has found that I probably was abused by a woman.  I can be nice to them but I don't want to live with them.   They intimidate me and I am truly very fond of a man's attention.  I am good with other dogs and can hang out with and be best friends forever. I love people and I am friends with every dog and cat that I meet. As you can see, I am a happy girl and they tell me that I'm quite pretty too. No one knows much about me except that I have a sweet smile, a great personality and I love people that let me snuggle with them. I promise that I will be your cuddly snuggle bug and your best friend forever. I am looking for a Beagle loving home. I would welcome children as a part of my life and I can live with other dogs and even cats. They have tested me with everything and said I'm pretty perfect. If you are interested please write immediately to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comNovember 7, 2024, 10:11 pm

Story
Mary Ellen is a sweet, quiet and timid girl. She keeps to herself at first, but once she trusts you (her trust can be easily gained with food and pets) she is so loving! She does extremely well with all kinds of dogs— dominant, submissive, friendly, selective— she adjusts her demeanor accordingly. She’s a smart girl with experience being around many dogs. We believe she was kept in a pen with other dogs, because of her demeanor when it comes to new things and how long her nails were when we got her. Despite her initial shyness, Mary loves people and can open up to be a silly girl! She is low to medium energy, and would probably do best in a family who likes a more quiet life. All she really needs is patience and love!
