Story
Penny is a 10 year old, 24 pound Beagle mix. Penny was found as a stray in Bethany Missouri. Some kind volunteers helped her find her way to Fur Fun Rescue and a warm, loving foster home in Iowa. Penny was very confused by living in a house at first but she always loved her people. While she was confused and hesitant about stairs and doorways, she would follow her foster parents anywhere, into the shower, out in the rain, into the bed, up and down stairs. Penny is very smart and has quickly figured out that living in a house is a good thing! She loves to snuggle on the couch next to her foster mom and take walks with her foster dad. She is endlessly curious and always wants to know what her people are doing and what is around the next corner. Penny has adjusted very well and is house and crate trained. Her favorite activity is when her foster parents pick up all the toys to vacuum and she gets to dig them out of the toy box again. She is also excellent at finding crumbs in the couch or the granola bar in an old backpack. Penny is healthy and active. She takes mile long walks with her foster dad, easily does stairs and hops up on the couch. She loves to play with tennis balls but is still working on bringing them back. She thinks that you should just keep giving her more of them! She sleeps next to her foster parents at night and loves to sleep in as late as you will let her. Penny is learning to play with other dogs but definitely prefers her people. She is happy to cuddle on the couch with her foster dog sister but is confused by dog play behaviors. In time, she might learn to play with other dogs but she would be happy as an only dog too. Penny really wants to find her own family to call her own. She will wrap you around her little paw as she is full of personality and will always be so happy to see you. Penny is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested, and microchipped. She also just had her teeth cleaned so she is ready for her forever home. If you’re looking for a sweet companion Penny could be the perfect addition to your family! Charlotte is an 8-10 year old, 19-pound Beagle mix who is ready to find her forever home. Found as a stray, Charlotte is a little shy and takes her time warming up to new people, but once she trusts you, she’s a loyal companion who will be by your side. She’s a snuggle bug at heart and loves to sleep in bed with her foster mom, making her the perfect cuddle buddy. While she may be a bit reserved at first, she does well with other dogs around her size, although she hasn’t quite figured out the whole playtime thing yet! If you're looking for a gentle, calm dog to welcome into your life, Charlotte might just be the perfect fit. She may take a little time to settle in, but with patience and love, she’ll reward you with all the affection you could ask for. Mister Dyson! Ahh, we can't get enough of this little man! At about 4 months old, and about 10 pounds; he's nothing but a LOVEBUG. Truly. One of the laziest, most friendly, yet playful little pups, food is this guys preferred method of love, understandable! When he's on the sofa, trying to wiggle his way to give kisses, or get lovin's and we can't blame him! Dyson loves all things your typical pup loves, BUT Dyson has some beloved activities. Little man loves just about any toy offered, but definitely loves grabbing the stuffed ones and shaking them all about. Not to mention, his absolute desire to greet every person with a wiggly butt and tail, just to give them kisses; and hopefully get their lovin's! We know Dyson will do amazingly in just about any home, due to his gentle, sweet nature.

With eyes and floppy ears like that, and a personality of a sweet little puppy dog! Meet Olaf! Weighing in at a WHOPPING 25 pounds, at about 3 years old! He loves taking up room on laps, giving kisses, and playing fetch! This dude has done AMAZING with kids, ALL people, AND dogs as he's SO go-with-the-flow, and quite honestly content with doing anything, or nothing at all! He's more or less a lazy bones at heart, and adores cozy days in, most likely spent just throwing the ball in the living room. As long he's got a comfortable place to call it a day- he's quite the happy camper! All that Olaf wants in life? To be someone's absolute baby. Seriously, look at him all snuggled up in the crook of my arm, he is the sweetest little angel, EVER. Did I happen to mention that he LOVES attention? Scratches under the chin are his FAVORITE, right up there with the best of rump scritches! Olaf is an 11/10 wiggle bottom who must've listened to too much Shakira growing up into the pup that he is! Olaf has got all of his basic obedience down, he settles nicely in his kennel, and he has yet to make any messes, leading us to believe he is house-broken!

Candy! The sweetest beagle on the block, with many kisses, and definitely 'aroooooo's to give! Candy is a true people-lover and wants nothing more than 1-on-1 cuddles, attention, and all the love you can imagine! She's a big snuggle buddy and never fails to become the weighted blanket pup that you never knew you needed! Candy's a fan of kids, too!
