Story
This is from his foster: This is Cooper, he is an almost 2 year old beagle mix. He came from Kentucky where he spent most of his life living outside tied up to a chain. Despite this, he is a wonderful, loving dog. He loves people (especially children), other dogs, and does fine with cats. He loves snuggling, playing and running, and being a Velcro dog. He is getting used to being in a crate (he will do his best walrus impression for about 5 minutes and then stop), and has done well with house training. The only "no" in his forever home is chickens. He hates them. He does well with all other farm animals though according to his previous owner. He is neutered and up to date with vaccines. He is Lyme positive and will be getting treated with antibiotics but has shown no symptoms. He is the sweetest dog and deserves a wonderful home (if we didn't already have 2 dogs we would keep him) We arrange free transport to many states.

Story
Meet Hailey and Theo! From their foster mom: Hailey and Theo are two adorable and sweet Beagles who were found together. We don't know for sure but we think Hailey might be Theo's Mom. Hailey is the more confident one as she is more social. Hailey likes to be pet and when you talk to her she will wag her tail especially when I tell her how pretty she is . Hailey walks fine on a leash and she is doing well with her house training and crate training. Theo is very cute he just is shy and really looks towards Hailey for direction. Theo does let me pick him up and hold him. He definitely follows Hailey around and looks to her for if things are okay. Theo is doing well with his house training and crate training, he is okay on the leash but does follow Hailey. The one thing that I really enjoyed seeing with Theo is him discovering and enjoying how fun toys are ,it is so fun to watch. Both Hailey and Theo love treats and greenies as well , Hailey prefers the soft ones. Both Hailey and Theo are fine with other dogs. Because Theo is on the shy side if there are kids in the family older ones who know how to be dog respectful. As far as cats, I do not have any but I do not see a high prey drive out of either Hailey or Theo so I think they would be fine. A physically fenced secure yard is needed. Who is ready to show these two precious souls that there is a wonderful loving furever home out their for them? They are so deserving!! Hailey is 12 years old and weighs 19 pounds. Theo is 3 years old and weighs 23 pounds. They are UTD on shots, microchipped, HW-, on HW preventative. Please private message me if you are serious about adopting these two. They must be adopted together. They are located in St. Paul, MN. I arrange free transport to many

Story
Meet Karai!!! Karai is a 5-year-old, beagle TWCH beagle mix, who's been with us since fall 2020. Karai came to us transferred in from another rescue. She was extremely feral, supposedly. With time she showed us she is timid and shy but curiosity gets the best of her, always. Karai needs a home that will, embrace her curiosity, encourage her and not feel bad or sorry for her. She needs patience and nurturing, but an environment where she will not be held back nor limited. Be confident it's all okay. Every day is new to her as she improves. We do not shelter her or take any outrageous precautions to accommodate her insecurities. We encourage and expose her and introduce her to as many things, places, toys, food, locations, and adventures as possible. She is thriving and continues to thrive and improve every day! Karai is great with all dogs. She is best in the home with other dogs. She can be very playful with all dogs, and respectful of cats. Older kids would be best, if any. Karai loves her daily walks, a nice fence in the yard 4 ft minimum is a must, and a home with at least one other balanced, active, playful outgoing dog who will help her continue to overcome her fears is preferred. Karai is very food motivated. Oh, man is she ever! Loves all food! She is still a bit jumpy but each day we notice improvement. Patience is the key to best helping her be the best dog she was meant to be. Plus she's so sweet and calm and best of all LAZZZYYY! Karai is house and crate trained, up to date on all appropriate core vaccines including lepto and corona as well as rabies, dewormed, fecal tested negative, microchipped including free registration, spay, and current on monthly heartworm flea/tick prevention. Updated: 3/24/2023 www.animalhousesanctuary.org We believe training is an ongoing process that needs to be worked on daily. New issues that arise, need to be addressed and/or rewarded. Understanding that continued training is a lifetime commitment, is very important. Out-of-state adopters are welcome at the adopter's expense. Meet & Greets are a required before proceeding with an adoption. We DO NOT ship any of our pets.

Story
Meet Tessa! A 3 year old beagle English bulldog mix. I guess one of them designer Mutts. Beautiful dog indeed she is but..... Takes a very patient , willing, and very understanding person to adopt Tessa. Sadly she has had 3 homes and everyone quit as she was all over the map (she is much better now). She does it all and has no care as she does NOT HIDE WHEN DOING NAUGHTY THINGS. She is a total sweet heart. Bless her heart! She is just mischievous as hell! We are working hard to eliminate those awful behaviors. All while on a strict diet and lots of exercise through out the day. In the last few months she has lost good weight (she was too fat), has learned, and accepts correction, and progress is being made with basic obedience training. She is great when asked to stay still for baths, nail trimming, teeth brushing, ear cleaning finally! She is cat, dog, and kid friendly too! Tessa is house and crate trained, up to date on all appropriate core vaccines including lepto, rabies, dewormed, fecal tested negative, microchipped, neutered, and on monthly heartworm flea/tick prevention.
