He is a very nice pup and are patiently waiting to fill someone's life with companionship, loyalty, and love. House-trained, up to date on healthcare, great with kids and other dogs. He is being fostered in Virginia but we offer free transport to many states. I've included a DNA test on Onyx, his sibling.

CooperBeagle mix4 yrs old45 poundsI was a transfer in from another shelter that was full and needed some help.I have friends here and like to play with several of them.Since I am a beagle mix, my nose is working all the time. A fenced in yard is ideal. I am a great medium sized dog with a real zest for life!I know how to sit and am working on other behaviors. I am very treat motivated and love to work to obtain as many as I can.Toys are also a favorite of mine. I love balls and squeaky toys. I`m not very good at dropping them but if given a treat will happily drop the toy for a tasty snack.I`m waiting to meet you.

Story
This is Wrigley. He is an 8 year old male Beagle. Although he is purebred, there are no papers for him. I have had Wrigley since he was 12 weeks old. He has always been around our 10 year old Beagle. Wrigley was crate trained. But since the age of 4 or 5, we have left both of our Beagles free in the house even while we are at work during the day and have no problems. Wrigley usually sleeps on the same couch with his blankets during the day and night. He had been on an invisible fence with collar until January of this year. Wrigley loves being outside sniffing, running after rabbits, and taking walks. He loves to lay in the sun on the driveway. This is all of the great things about Wrigley. Now for the behavior problems with Wrigley. Sometime in the last three years, Wrigley has times where he has snapped at us and even bitten myself and several family members. We have talked to several trainers and the vet and no one really could gives an answer to why this occurred.

Belinda Beagle Mix came to us by no fault of her own after finding herself homeless. This is a nice, friendly girl who is good with people & other dogs. She is very sweet, happy but would benefit from some basic obedience and confidence building. Her approx. birth date is 11/11/20 and she currently weighs 19.2#.She has been vet. checked, spayed, micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings including rabies, and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol. She is heart worm & tick born illness negative. She had a dental & a small benign mammary mass removed. Her adoption donation is $300 and needs to be cash, certified check, money order or a debit/credit card. There is a 3% processing fee when using a debit/credit card. We do not ship or transport.Please email for an application if you would like to provide this nice kid with her forever home. ##2554430##
