Story
Princess came to us with a large mass (the last photo shows it). It was not cancerous. We had that removed, she was spayed, all her shots, microchipped, and heartworm tested. Princess weighs 34 pounds. This is from her foster: "Princess is the sweetest chubby little 8 year old you will ever meet. She loves every human and wants to play with every dog she meets. She would probably play with cats if they were interested. She has a super soft coat that she loves for you to pet. Supposedly having lived outside, she is nearly perfect in the house. She is crate trained and has only had one accident in the house (my fault). As like every Beagle she loves her food, but is clearly not accustomed to getting table food, so other than the smells on the counter, will walk away from a lot of it. Giving treats is getting better and if you remind her to be nice, she seems to understand. This little girl just wants attention. She has not really shown any interest in getting on furniture, so will not encourage it, as her forever home may prefer it this way. She has mastered the doggie door and absolutely loves being outside sniffing and exploring so would love a fenced yard. At 8 years old, she could benefit from a joint supplement, as she acts stiff when she first gets up." She is with a foster in Missouri. We arrange free transport to many states.

Story
Little Jon is a delightful 5-month-old puppy weighing 21 pounds who is ready for his furever home. He was rescued as a stray in Ohio, and Beagles R Us Rescue has ensured that all his needs are met before he transitions to his forever home. He walks well on a leash but shows a preference against harnesses, and we are actively working on that aspect of his training. He is crate-trained and has had only a few indoor accidents; he signals his need to go outside by approaching the door. Although he experiences some separation anxiety, this has improved considerably. He is comfortable in his crate during the night and when we are away for work. When at home, he prefers to have his human in his sight at all times. Initially, he would only go outside to potty when accompanied, but he now confidently ventures out with his canine siblings and engages in play without requiring your presence. He will let you know when he is ready to come inside with his beagle bark. Little Jon has the playful energy typical of a beagle puppy. He enjoys cuddling with his family and playing with his canine siblings. He interacts well with dogs of all sizes; his current housemates include a pit bull, two corgi mixes, and a chihuahua. While he generally respects the cats in the home, he does attempt to play with them, and if they show disapproval, he can be easily redirected. Despite some stubbornness typical of the breed, he has begun to understand commands such as "no," "come," and sometimes "leave it." Training will require patience, as he may occasionally ignore commands. However, he is a smart beagle and is capable of further learning with consistent guidance. We encourage you to consider adopting Little Jon. He would thrive in an active home with a fenced yard and would benefit tremendously from having another dog to play with. While he has not been exposed to children, we believe he would adapt well, provided they are taught to respect his space. Little Jon has never shown aggression and is a loving addition to any family.

Story
Beagles are better in pairs!!! Archie and Reggie are up for adoption. You won't find a cuter pair than these two. This is the information from the shelter where we got them from. "Archie & Reggie are about 1 yr. old. The brothers were found running at large, & no owner came looking for them. Archie's the more independent one. He's very curious about everything & loves to investigate. His curiosity can get him in trouble; for example, he found a new bag of toys in a storage area & now tries to steal a new toy every time the gate's open! Reggie's the shy one. He's doing much better now that he's been here a couple of weeks. He was scared of everything at first, but now that he's getting comfortable, he's learning that being petted & playing with the other dogs are quite nice. They were quite thin when they got to the shelter." They are adjusting well to living inside a house with the foster. They are neutered, micro-chipped, UTD on shots, Heart-worm negative.

Story
??Beautiful bonded pair ready for adoption!! ?? They are 7 years old. They were 64 and 53 pounds when rescued. They are now 50 and 40 pounds. They are spayed, microchipped, up to date on shots, heartworm and Lyme tested. Bella and Izzy are bonded sisters. They are in foster care in St Paul MN. But we arrange free transport to many states. This is what the foster has to say about them: They are very sweet and affectionate. Bella is a little more laid back than Izzy who just has a little more to say sometimes, after all she says I am a Beagle!! Both girls have done fine with my other dogs, doing well with their house training and crate training and of course they love treats. Since they both came to rescue overweight they are on regulated meals and I am watching their treat intake. Bella and Izzy both love sniffing around in my fenced backyard when the weather is nice to verify if any bunnies and or squirrels were running through the yard overnight. They both have the Beagle bay. The girls are doing well with losing weight and they are good on the leash so I think they would like to go for walks once it gets nicer out. Bella and Izzy have gone through some hard changes before coming to rescue with their owner passing away and having to be rehomed. Thankfully they still have each other. Bella and Izzy have shown me that they have so much love to give and receive, that their past does not determine their future and when I see both girls adorable faces light up with their Beagle smiles it warms my heart! Who is ready to welcome twice the love the snuggles the fun into your heart and home!
