Meet Milo--and yes--he is every bit as adorable as he looks. He is a happy boy that sadly doesn't realize how his life is about to change. His person had to take a new job that requires travel, and leaving Milo alone is certainly not an option. It is heartbreaking for his person, but sometimes our lives just do not go quite as we planned. So, in doing the best for Milo, he reached out and we are helping Milo find his new family. We first met this cutie when he was a puppy back in 2022, we called him Danny. He was an adorable little guy, and apparently he continued with the adorableness! Milo is much loved and has had a great life. He is great with other dogs, kids and will accept cats(he is a little curious about them, but is fine.) We hear he is a professional cuddler, but is also fine snuggled up on his own bed with a favorite toy. Milo has the loving eyes of an old soul, he is a very special boy. Milo would love and energetic family, he enjoys his walks, playtime and of course his toys! He is also crate trained, very well mannered and is and of course a great snuggler!! As sad as his person is about having to find another home for Milo, he knows that Milo will be a loving addition for some lucky family! He is just over 4 years old, 50 pounds, and a lab/beagle. Hello Everyone, My name is Whiffit and I’m a 4 mo old Beagle baby girl who is as sweet as can be. I was born with a birth defect and am missing some toes on my front foot. My rescue says it’s a little bit easier to trim my nails so it’s not a bad thing. It doesn’t slow me down that’s for sure. I am looking for my happily ever after. Cinnamon is approximately 10 years old and weighs 18 pounds. She is crate trained and house broken – and gets along with other dogs and cats. Cinnamon is a sweet, happy-go-lucky little girl! She loves cuddles and belly rubs and is always giving kisses. She's not barky, doesn’t really play with toys, but enjoys a daily walk or time spent in the yard. She is happiest being close to her people snuggled up on the couch. Car rides make her a little nervous, but if she's held, she settles right in and feels safe. Cinnamon would make a fantastic family dog – she’s gentle, loving, and ready to finally enjoy the life she always deserved. All she needs now is a home filled with kindness, routine, and love.

Meet Maggie! She is a real sweetheart and just wants love from everyone. Maggie is thought to be 6 years old, she was a stray so her age is a guess. Maggie came to us quite thin but looks great now and weighs 25 pounds. She is definitely a beagle but has a longer body so is likely mixed with bassett hound. Maggie is a calm and quiet girl. She does have the typical nose to the ground and is happiest sniffing around the fenced yard and letting us know if there is a critter nearby. Maggie co-exists fine with the other dogs in her foster home but doesn't interact with them much, she seeks out the people and young children. We have not had Maggie around cats. She does need some consistency to reinforce good potty habits. She is good in a kennel, good on a leash, and enjoys going bye bye.  Maggie's adoption fee of $300 covers her spay, microchip with registration, vaccines and flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Please apply at gfrpets.org/apply/adoptdog/ ##2352961##
