Jennie from the block or.... Jennie from Wing Hill Road?! We have had numerous calls, zero sightings and nobody willing to claim her. FINALLY one of our girls spotted her right before another cold snap and snatched her up! Now none of us have to worry about her being outside in the cold for another second! She has been the sweetest little girl with us and is just the most happy go lucky doggo! She gets along with every other dog and person here and for a beagle she is quiet as a mouse! She loves her outside time but has no objections to coming back in to her warm bed every afternoon. She walks nicely on a leash and loves car rides if she gets to sit on your lap! She doesn't potty in her kennel or tear up blankets/toys so she would be a great addition to anybody's home! We can't say enough good things about her! Her adoption fee is $275 and this will include her DAPPV booster, deworming, current flea and tick, spay, heartworm test, 1 year Rabies vaccine and a microchip. Please call 618-833-4915 to come meet her! Thank you! Are you interested in adopting this pet? Please click here: https://form.jotform.com/210158338747157 and fill out an application. Email us at: animalcontrol@unioncountyil.gov and make an appointment for a meet and greet! Address: Union County Animal Control, 385 Kaolin Road, Cobden IL 62920.

Story
Meet Gunner 🐾 Gunner is a lovable 3½-year-old dog looking for his forever home. We adopted him at 6 months old when his owner could no longer care for him due to health reasons. He has grown into a sweet balance of calm and playful. Gunner’s favorite word is “Walk!” He loves walks and enjoys safe off-leash time chasing rabbits. He knows basic commands, reliably comes when called “Here!”, and is fully crate trained and potty trained. He will bark when the doorbell rings and may be a little nervous with new visitors at first, but after a few minutes to sniff and settle, he warms up quickly and greets them with friendly licks. Gunner is wonderful with children and enjoys tug-of-war, fetch, cuddles, and naps. He does well with other dogs at the dog park and is usually the chasee, not the chaser. Calm when you need quiet and playful when it’s time for fun, Gunner will make a sweet, loyal addition to any family. Dog food, crate, tags, and 6 months of heartworm medication included.

Story
Sheena was found on the side of the road. Someone had most likely dumped and then someone hit her and left her. A passerby picked her up and took her to the vet. Luckily her injuries were pretty minor and she recovered quickly. She is an energetic, smart, funny young girl who loves to play. She has not done well with other dogs so far as she plays really rough and can be intimidating! If introduced slowly, she will most likely be fine with dogs around her size. I would not recommend a home with small children since she does tend to play so rough. She is thought to be have been born around December, 2020. She currently weighs about 40 lbs. She is a happy girl who will make you smile with her beautiful happy outlook! She listens well and just wants to please so badly. Her adoption fee is $200. If you are interested, please go to pawspaws.org and complete the application. Once approved, I will contact you to set up a meet and greet so you can come to meet this baby girl! Thanks for your interest!
