Merry is a very sweet, gentle girl who can be a bit timid at times. She’s on the calmer, more laid-back side and prefers observing the world at her own pace. Curious yet cautious, Merry likes to take things slowly until she feels comfortable—once she does, her soft and loving personality shines through. She’s a true couch potato who would happily choose a cozy nap over playtime any day. When it comes to priorities, food definitely wins over toys, making her very food-motivated and easy to encourage with tasty treats. Her “lazy” nature just means she’s perfectly content relaxing by your side and enjoying quiet moments together. Merry is currently working on her house training and is improving day by day with consistency and patience. She is not crate trained yet, but with gentle guidance and positive reinforcement, she has great potential to continue learning and building confidence. If you’re looking for a calm, sweet companion who enjoys naps, snacks, and a peaceful home, Merry might be the perfect match for you. Kooper is a great 'lil dude' for any family with any other pets - he is good with other dogs, and would even like to play with the resident cat in his foster home!  He is estimated to be 1-2 years old and is a little on the lean side weighing between 25-30lbs. Foster Update: He is a little skittish to loud noises and fast hand movements and most likely just getting his bearings in new surroundings. He loves toys and will hoard them into his crate!  So far, he's been very quiet when crated and not a barker.  More information to come soon as he gets settled! We recommend training for all our dogs!     **Breed or size (once fully grown) is a 'best guess' and is not guaranteed since they arrived into rescue without either parent. **Magnificent Mutts is an all foster home based rescue and meets are held by appointment with the entire family in attendance. It’s been said that “good things come in small packages,” and we couldn’t agree more! Our favorite 20lb beagle, Vivienne is officially ready to find her forever family! Vivienne is about 8 years old and is absolutely precious. Don’t let the number 8 fool you, she still has plenty of energy and life left! Vivi loves every human , even the tiny ones. She currently lives with a 2 year old human foster, and two big dogs, who she gets along great with! Vivi is house-trained and kennel-trained, she will go in on command, and sleep through the night without a peep- okay well maybe some snores. She does have some separation anxiety but her fosters have been working on that, and Vivi has made amazing progress. Viv loves to spend her days roaming the backyard, and protecting you from squirrels. Because she’s a hound and her nose has a lot of work to do, she would do best with a secure fence. She enjoys long naps on the couch and walks to the fridge. The ideal home for this sweet girl would be with someone who is patient and understanding. We aren’t sure what Vivi went through, but she didn’t have many kind hands petting her, so she can be nervous at first. Vivi would do best with another dog to help her continue to build her confidence.

Georgia Joy came to us and yes, she’s adorable—but what exactly is she mixed with? Beagle, sure… but tell me why she’s out here looking like a full-on Lab mix. She’s 5 months old and still waiting for her charm to work its magic so she can end up exactly where she belongs. Like… any day now. She’s been with us since the first week of November, and at this point it honestly feels illegal that no one has finalized on her cute little self. Georgia is a companion with all the traits you could want: playful, loving, sassy, cuddly… and then some. Georgia is dog-friendly, thanks to her foster sister Birch and a full pack of five at her foster home. She’s confident, aware of her playmates’ styles, and would love a foster companion—or at least some dog friends—to keep perfecting her social skills. She’s completely crate-savvy and confident. Her kennel is her safe space, her chill zone, and yes… even where she eats her meals. She knows the vibe. She’s determined to be a proper lady and is doing her very best with potty training, thanks to frequent breaks from her foster mom that set her up for success. She knows how this adoption thing works, so she’s in boot camp right now—and thankfully, it includes plenty of treats. Georgia is being in fostered in Chicago, I mean this is Chicago Rescue Authority. She is accepting applications all over but you must be willing to travel to meet her. In person meetings are so 2026. She’s spayed, up to date on vaccinations, dewormed, and microchipped—because “adoption-ready” is the vibe, obviously.

Zumi is a precious 21lb senior Beagle that is coming to us from Henderson, Kentucky. She suffered some neglect and will need a dental once we build her up and also do her blood work to see if she is fighting any underlying tick borne disease. We love our Beagles with this rescue and so many coming from Kentucky and Tennessee are in the worst shape. Zumi is a sweet friendly little dog and we hope to find her the best new loving home.
