Story
Meet Bullet, a lovable 3 year-old Beagle Hound mix bursting with sweetness and personality! This friendly boy is all about people and would make a wonderful companion for anyone looking to add a fun, affectionate fur friend to their life. Bullet thrives as the center of attention, so he is looking for a home without other pets. With his energetic spirit, he would be happiest in a home with a secure, fenced in yard where he can run, play, and explore to his hearts content. He is always up for an adventure whether it is a car ride, a hike, or any outdoor activity, Bullet is your guy! He is working on his leash manners he can be a bit of a puller, but he is crate-trained although he tends to turn bedding into confetti and he is doing wonderfully with house training, even letting you know it is time to go out by barking at the door. Bullet does best in a calm, patient environment. He can become reactive if yelled at, so a gentle, understanding adopter will help him feel safe and secure. If you are searching for a loyal, energetic, and fun loving partner to share your adventures, Bullet may be the perfect match! For adoption information, please call the shelter to confirm his availability. Once ready, stop by for a meet-and-greet! Hours: Tuesday–Friday: 10:30–6 Saturday: 10:30–4 (Closed 1–2 for lunch and the last Friday of every month.)

Story
Meet Ethel – A Diamond in the Rough with a Heart of Gold! 📍 Currently in Bradenton, FL | 🐶 Applications: ewenityfarmsbch.com Ethel is one of 30+ dogs rescued from a heartbreaking hoarding situation — and while her past was filled with neglect, her future is full of possibility. She’s about 1–2 years old, and despite everything she’s been through, this little Beagle mix is gentle, sweet-natured, and incredibly resilient. Right now, Ethel is still a work in progress, but she's made tremendous strides with love and time: 🌟 PUPDATE 10/17: She's now housebroken, crate-trained, and uses a puppy door Walks short distances on leash Learning to seek out affection and even snuggles! Loves toys, other dogs, and is very food motivated Hair is growing back beautifully, and her soft spirit is starting to shine But Ethel still needs a very special kind of home — one with: ✔️ A fenced yard ✔️ At least one kind, confident dog to mentor her ✔️ People with patience, dog-savviness, and a heart for the underdog ✔️ A commitment to letting Ethel move at her own pace — not yours Ethel is still timid with new people and environments. She won’t be your walking buddy right away, and she’s not yet a dog you can parade through a busy neighborhood. But in the right home, with steady support and structure, she will continue to bloom. 💡 If you’ve worked with shy, unsocialized dogs before — or if you're a Beagle lover who understands the breed’s quirks and charm — Ethel could be your next great success story. Watching her come out of her shell has been nothing short of magical. She’s gone from frozen and fearful to curious and cuddly — and she’s so ready to take her next steps with a family of her own. 📝 Interested? Apply today at ewenityfarmsbch.com Let’s give this brave little girl the life she’s always deserved. ❤️

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Darla has spent the last seven months in a loving foster home in Mississippi where she's come such a long way. When she first arrived she was shy and unsure, but with time, patience, and gentle reassurance, Darla has truly blossomed and her sweet personality now shines through. She still may take a little time to warm up and has shown preference for women over men at first, but once you've earned her trust she'll be your best bud. She now adores her foster dad and even gives him little hand licks to express her love! Darla is great with kids and loves other dogs. In fact, having canine friends around seems to help her feel more confident so a home with another dog would be welcomed. Darla  needs to be in a home with a fenced-in yard where she can safely explore and sniff to her heart's content. Darla is heartworm negative, spayed, and ready for her sleepover. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 2, 2025, 3:02 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Banjo came to us from an owner who was unfortunately losing his home. We are sorry for the gentleman and his situation, but very glad we are able to provide some much-needed medical care for Banjo. We are so happy to share that he does NOT have heart issues as we initially suspected!  His cough was instead due to a collapsed trachea and is so much better than when he arrived. Banjo has settled in nicely in his foster home! He's a good boy and his foster mom allows him to sleep in bed with her or on the couch. She thinks he is very smart and taught him to shake hands in about 20 minutes! He does rest a lot but he also really enjoys his walks, typical beagle with nose to the ground smelling everything! Banjo can be a bit excited when first meeting another dog, but we think he would do best in a home with a dog or a cat as a buddy and he prefers not to be left alone for very long. As far as his medical care, of course being a senior he will have some issues down the road. For the time being. Being his blood work looks good but we will be bringing him back for some booster vaccinations and recheck at the end of December. Banjo could go on sleepover anytime!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 12, 2025, 2:58 pm
