Story
Meet Mitzi Mitzi is a sweet and tenderhearted dog who is about 2 years old and weighs 16 pounds. We rescued her from a shelter near the border of Mexico. She does have a warm-up period when meeting new people. Once she knows you will be kind to her, she loves to get attention and affection. Coming from the environment she was in previously; it is apparent that she wasn’t handled very much so she just needs time to trust and know that she is in a safe space. She gets along well with the other dogs at the rescue. She would do best in a calm and patient home without small children where she can acclimate to her new surroundings and learn to trust. She is a wonderful dog who just wants a family to call her own! Mitzi is located in at our rescue in Hondo, Texas and is available for transport to St. Augustine, Florida on December 21st, with an approved application! The adoption fee is $400 and includes transport fee. If you would like to add this cutie to your family, please review our process and complete an application here - https://www.tracyspawsrescue.org/adopt Learn more about our rescue here: https://www.facebook.com/TracysPawsRescue Services our dogs receive prior to adoption: Chagas Testing Heartworm and Tick Testing (age appropriate) All age-appropriate vaccines Heartworm and flea/tick preventatives Spay/neuter surgery Microchip *The breed(s) listed are guessed and based on the dog's physical appearance*

Story
Ranger is around 2 years old and is friendly, snuggly dog. Ranger is house and crate trained. Ranger has a history of becoming jealous and aggressive with other dogs. He loves to give hugs and snuggle with his people. He is ok around kids, but better with a home without them. We are rehoming Ranger because he has become aggressive with our older dogs and can’t take the chance of him severely hurting one of them.

Story
FREE to a good home. My sister is having to rehome her dogs. She's been doing it all as a single mom since her husband passed away last year and it has been hard to find the time and attention they need as well as a struggle physically and financially to care for them. They are both completely up to date on shots and super sweet. 🐾Zeus (brown, 3 yr. old male) gets along well with kids. He prefers cats and dogs smaller than him as he gets intimidated easily. He will come with his crate, food and bowls.

Story
Buster was born December 23, 2019 (4.5 years old) . He is a Beagle/Australian Shepard mix. I became the owner of Buster after he was rehome when he was 5 months. Buster favorite thing to do is hunt for lizards. He isn’t much of a cuddled, but loves to be petted. His favorite game is tug of war. Buster does well with fireworks and rain, but is scared if it is a heavy thunderstorm or extremely loud fireworks. We need to rehome Buster because he is not adapting to our baby. Now that she is mobile, he growls at her when she gets near. Buster nipped at the babies face when she pet his back while he was looking for food crumbs after we ate breakfast. Buster has never bit anyone else. Buster would do good in a home where he could have at least a small backyard, but other than hunting for lizard, he prefers to stay inside. He would do good in an apartment with multiple walks a day. Buster does well with older kids. He should not be placed in a home with small children.
