Story
Luna is a lively 5-year old Beagle hound mix, born on 3/22/2019. Weighing only 25lbs, she still has the size and adorable face of a puppy! Activity Level: Loves running, playing, and often gets the zoomies but also loves her downtime as a couch potato. A fenced yard would be ideal, but she’s also happy with regular walks. House Training: She can stay home all day without accidents. Leash Behavior: She enjoys walks but tends to pull on the leash. A head harness has helped reduce the pulling. Socialization: Previously friendly with other dogs, she has become protective since the arrival of a baby. She may be dog-friendly with calmer dogs her size and has done well playing with family members dogs. Home Environment: Needs a home without children. Gets overwhelmed by kids and loud noises. Affectionate Nature: Very cuddly and enjoys snuggling on the couch or bed. Luna would thrive in a calm, adult-only home where she can enjoy her playful nature and receive plenty of affection.

Story
Introducing Buddy, a survivor whose story is etched in adversity. Having been found with his snout cruelly duct-taped shut, a haunting testament to human cruelty. Despite his traumatic ordeal, Buddy has been at the rescue since January, where he's been embraced by the loving care of our team. This sweet boy thrives on affection from his human friends and can't seem to get enough of it. He relishes playing with toys, indulging in fetch sessions, and embarking on long, therapeutic walks. While Buddy may be selective about his furry companions, his unique spirit shines brightly. He's kennel trained and a pro at walking on a leash, with a penchant for bird-watching during his favorite outdoor pastime. If you're ready to be a part of Buddy's journey toward healing and happiness, pay him a visit at the ranch, where he eagerly awaits his chance at a loving forever home.

Story
Choose Brownie and you'll be rewarded with a grateful companion. His foster family tells us that Brownie is housetrained, sleeps well, is quiet, and does fine being at home while you're out. Brownie is sweet, smart, gentle, and polite. But he is also hesitant, timid, and easily startled by noises and new experiences. He does best with routines and with owners who are calm and patient. Because Brownie can be timid, he prefers older children and prefers dog friends that are not too boisterous. While Brownie enjoys the back yard and will occasionally explore, he is also happy to hang out and chill. Brownie is learning to walk on a leash that is attached to a harness and he is now able to go on short outside walks. Brownie comes to his foster family for a good ear scratch, hugs, and love. Brownie truly shines in the updated profile pictures provided by his foster family. If you're looking for a sweet and quiet home companion, then Brownie is your match.
