Adoption Fee: $475 When available, all animals are fixed, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped! From the foster: Meet Dublin (aka Dubs) – Pup #243 This sweet snuggle bug is looking for his forever family! Dublin is the ultimate companion pup—he wants nothing more than to be close to his human at all times (so keep an eye out, he’s likely to be right underfoot!). He’s already mastered the doggy door and has had zero accidents as long as he gets a potty break after coming out of his kennel or playpen. On his very first night, Dublin slept soundly from 9:30 PM to 6 AM without a peep—this boy knows how to settle in! He’s a quick learner, super treat-motivated, and eager to please. Dublin is currently living with two young kids (ages 4 and 5) and does amazing with them. His gentle nature and affectionate personality make him a perfect fit for a family home. If you’re looking for a loyal little shadow, a fast learner, and a cuddle buddy all in one—Dubs is your guy! www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt

Adoption Fee: $475 When available, all animals are fixed, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped! From the foster: Meet Guinness – Pup #244 Full of love, adventure, and snuggles! Guinness is the perfect mix of playful and affectionate. He lives for pets and snuggles, and when he’s not soaking up all the love, he’s off on a little adventure—exploring the world around him with curiosity and enthusiasm. This boy’s got hops too! Guinness will happily jump up on the couch to relax with his people after a busy day of fun. He’s still working on potty training, but he’s getting the hang of it—especially when taken out frequently and after meals. On his very first night, he slept like a champ from 9:30 PM to 6 AM in his playpen before politely asking to be let out. Guinness is wonderful with our 4 and 5-year-old boys and has been an absolute joy to foster. With his loving heart and playful spirit, he’s sure to make a great addition to a family ready for some puppy love! www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt

Profile Name: Bellie | Your Snuggle Soulmate | 5 Years Old About Me: Looking for love? Well, you’ve found it! I’m Bellie, a 40-pound brindle-and-white beauty with a heart full of affection. If cuddling were an Olympic sport, I’d be taking home the gold! I’ll gently paw at you if you’re not paying enough attention — I like to make sure I’m getting ALL the love. My Ideal Day: Lazy walks where I take in all the smells (my leash game is TIGHT!) Car rides to new adventures Sniffing around nature trails Endless cuddle sessions on the couch Playing with plush toys, licking Kongs, and tackling lick mats My Daily Grind ?  Holding down the couch while my hooman brings home the kibble. It’s a tough job, but someone’s gotta do it! The Basics:  I’m a calm, sweet girl who adores everyone I meet (especially if you come bearing treats or toys). I’m a pro at 'come,' 'sit,' and 'leave it,' and always ready to learn more — especially if yummy rewards are involved. My potty skills are pretty solid, and I’ve been accident-free in my foster home, though I might need a little time to get used to a new routine. I’m crate trained and ready to be your loyal, loving companion! Currently Taking it Easy: I’m finishing up heartworm treatment, so I’m taking it slow for now, but once I’m back at full strength, I’ll be ready for all the walks and fun we can handle together. Looking For: A cat-free home that’s full of love, patience, and belly rubs. I’m looking for a lifelong companion who will cherish me as much as I’ll cherish them. I promise to shower you with snuggles and devotion, 24/7. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Let’s Make It Happen: If you’re seeking a sweet, affectionate, and loyal best friend, swipe right on me. Story
Hello, I'm Pickles!I'm a 2 year old Beagle/Dachshund mix with a great personality. I do great with other dogs, cats, and kiddos so I'd be a great addition to any family. Come meet me and take me home! If you're interested in adopting me, fill out an adoption application online at www.polkcountyhumanesociety.org/adopt where you will also find a link to reserve me for an appointment. Some pets are in foster homes or may already have an appointment scheduled, so the appointment is important to make sure I will be available to meet you when you come. Polk County Humane Society is located in Bolivar, Missouri, but also makes transports to the Denver, CO, Des Moines, IA and St. Louis areas twice monthly. For potential adopters in those areas, we can do a virtual visit using FaceTime or another app. Just request an appointment using the same link, but note that you want the visit to be virtual. We will call you at the time of the visit once it is confirmed. For long distance transports to Colorado and Iowa, there is an additional $100 fee to cover the cost of the transport ($65) and a health certificate from a veterinarian ($35). For transports to St. Louis, the additional fee is $50 to help cover gas. Going that last mile home for our sweet pets! All of our pets are neutered or spayed, have vaccinations appropriate for their age, treated with flea/tick/heartworm prevention, dewormed and dogs are also microchipped. #adoptdontshop ##2357502##

Story
Shelter visiting hours are 12 pm to 4 pm - Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays Please fill out an adoption application at mamcorescue.org or attend one of our Saturday adoption event. Events are held each Saturday from 12 pm to 5 pm at our office: 2721 W Oxford Ave., Suite 6 Englewood, CO 80110 *In order to protect our puppies, we do not allow puppies to attend open events until they have a minimum of two vaccinations. Puppies who are available, but not listed on our weekly Facebook event, are considered "deposit only" puppies. These puppies will only attend the event IF they are reserved through a deposit. You can check the list of puppies attending the open event by checking the event: https://www.facebook.com/MAMCORescue  At MAMCO we understand that in order to continue rescuing moms and babies, we must stretch our finances as far as we are able. For this reason we use variable adoption pricing. By assigning higher adoption fees to high demand moms and puppies, we are able to rescue more families in need. The money raised through these adoptions acts as a benefactor to moms and puppies in our care who require expensive veterinary treatments, have behavioral issues, or need more time to find a home. We often reduce the adoption fees on these harder-to-place moms and puppies to help them find forever families. Adoption fees vary. Applications can be filled out at mamcorescue.org. ##1992252##

Story
I unfortunately am in a renter situation, and cannot keep this sweet dog. She is part beagle, and the other half could be a feist, or could be a chihuahua, or is just unknown. She is loving and sweet. She is also a hunter type and obsesses over chasing squirrels, rabbits and birds. She could use some more training to be better on leash and not pull so much. She takes warming up to other dogs but loves my beagle and cuddles with him. I don't know that she would be great for small children but she is a great dog. Open to meeting with anyone in the greater Denver metro area or farther out, please reach out with any questions!

Story
Dopey was acquired at a pet store that used to be inside the Park Meadows mall, back in 2014. He was a tiny beagle, we were told he was a pocket beagle. When brought home he became the baby of the family. Dopey is extremely smart, loyal and playful. He is 10 and as he continues to get older he needs a home that can grant him the proper care, love and attention. Due unforeseen circumstances with my health i can no longer keep him and for a while now have not been able to care for him as he deserves

Story
Max adores people and loves to be near you always. He is a happy guy, but a little anxious and needy. He is older so has a condition where he can have increased urinary frequency so needs good access to outdoors in prefer to avoid accidents indoors. He also has a bit of hearing loss. He loves other dogs to play with and is used to being around kids, however he has snapped several times (no bites) if someone startles him when sleeping on his favorite chair. He has been a wonderful companion to my parents since his adoption from the shelter 8 years ago and we are heartbroken to have to rehome him due to their severe illnesses and inability to care for him. Please offer him a new loving home!
