Story
Happy Hedge is a 9 year old, female, Beagle that’s on the search for her retirement home. Hedge’s human mom got moved to a long term care facility and Hedge lost her home as a result. She’s a happy, easy girl to have around! Hedge is great with canine companions and often participated in doggie play groups with dogs of all sizes. She sleeps soundly through the night on her dog bed, seems house trained, enjoys short walks and is always up for a little power nap while she recharges under the sun. Hedge is presently 55 lbs but she’s on a weight loss plan. She’d be great for an active senior home or with a family. She also comes complete with fresh clean teeth! Hedge is being fostered in Loveland, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. * You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/hedge/. Story
Stella is a 2 year old, 35lb, beagle mix with lots of love and beagle energy. She actually would do great in an apartment or house. She loves people, dogs, and maybe likes cats a little too much. If you’re looking for a friendly dog, this is it! She is blind in one eye but makes up for it with a can-do attitude. Nothing slows her down from playing, snuggling, or loving her home- even depth perception. She’s probably not going to catch a treat or be your hunting dog, not that she wouldn’t try. She’s great with kids but does need to be reminded not to jump. We don’t have littles around her often but she learns quickly to treat them gently. Stella came to us at 4 months old when her owner need was fleeing high rents in CO. It was supposed to be temporary but he has come back. It’s been nearly 2 years since she moved into our home. We absolutely keep her if we didn’t already have 2 other dogs. We’re just not giving poor lil’ Stella what she deserves. She’s overdue for her forever home.
