Story
Meet Ruthie, a sweet 3-year-old purebred Beagle who embodies all the lovable traits of her breed! At around 20 lbs, she’s the perfect size for cuddles—and she loves to snooze under the covers or in a cozy laundry basket. Ruthie is house-trained, leash-trained, and gets along wonderfully with other dogs, cats, and kids. She’s a low-energy, laid-back girl who enjoys exploring the yard with her nose to the ground and letting out the occasional Beagle howl. If you’re looking for a well-rounded, loving companion, Ruthie is your girl! Once adopted she will travel via the Rescue Transport to her new family. They travel each and every weekend from Memphis, Tennessee to the north east, delivering pups along the way as far north as West Greenwich, Rhode Island. Transport is an additional $185. If you would like to make this cutie part of your family please follow the link below to our adoption application. Our turnaround time is typically less than 24 hours so please be prepared before you submit your application. https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/BCAR/Dog

He loves to walk he's kennel trained he's happy all the time his tail never stops wagging it just goes to show you what a special boy he is having been at the Shelter for so long and he still has a beautiful disposition , we would love to get this guy his family. Profile Name: Bellie | Your Snuggle Soulmate | 5 Years Old About Me: Looking for love? Well, you’ve found it! I’m Bellie, a 40-pound brindle-and-white beauty with a heart full of affection. If cuddling were an Olympic sport, I’d be taking home the gold! I’ll gently paw at you if you’re not paying enough attention — I like to make sure I’m getting ALL the love. My Ideal Day: Lazy walks where I take in all the smells (my leash game is TIGHT!) Car rides to new adventures Sniffing around nature trails Endless cuddle sessions on the couch Playing with plush toys, licking Kongs, and tackling lick mats My Daily Grind ?  Holding down the couch while my hooman brings home the kibble. It’s a tough job, but someone’s gotta do it! The Basics:  I’m a calm, sweet girl who adores everyone I meet (especially if you come bearing treats or toys). I’m a pro at 'come,' 'sit,' and 'leave it,' and always ready to learn more — especially if yummy rewards are involved. My potty skills are pretty solid, and I’ve been accident-free in my foster home, though I might need a little time to get used to a new routine. I’m crate trained and ready to be your loyal, loving companion! Currently Taking it Easy: I’m finishing up heartworm treatment, so I’m taking it slow for now, but once I’m back at full strength, I’ll be ready for all the walks and fun we can handle together. Looking For: A cat-free home that’s full of love, patience, and belly rubs. I’m looking for a lifelong companion who will cherish me as much as I’ll cherish them.   Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes every pet should find a wonderful and caring home. To ensure Odie #3 finds the best possible home, we ask you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application in the order submitted and will contact you within 48 hours  (please check your spam folder for our emails) .   Outgoing Odie is all about LOVING! The 11-week-old puppy, so sweet and so sociable, loves snuggling and cuddling with his foster mom, gently resting his head on her and then happily rolling over for belly rubs. Always looking for an equally loving playmate, Odie especially enjoys engaging with his doggy foster friend and is learning all about boundaries in regard to the resident cats. He also loves chewing bones and playing with a wide variety of toys, and because he’s eager to please and to learn, any inappropriate chewing on his part is easily redirected by his foster mom with praise and a toy. Fond of all treats, motivated by food, toys and love, Odie knows “come,” “sit” and “off,” and although he hasn’t yet been walked since he’s not fully vaccinated, he’s crate trained and at work on his house-training. Only just starting life’s journey, Odie will flourish in a loving and active family, perhaps with another playful pup, that will complete his training, including his commands, and keep him mentally and physically fulfilled fur-ever.   If you and the dog are a good match then we'll connect you with our dog's foster parents to chat more in-depth. Story
Snoopy #4 Three-month-old Snoopy sizzles with spirit and spunk! At 22 pounds and still growing, he’s sweet, loving and playful and, according to his foster mom, a joy to watch. When she sits on the couch, he comes over to cuddle and snuggle, rest his head on her, roll over for belly rubs, and then wriggle his way through a ranger crawl. Extremely energetic, Snoopy not only gets the zoomies and chases balls around the house, he LOVES being outside in the yard, engaging with every dog he meets, and going for long walks and hikes. Curious about the resident cats, he chases after them playfully, loves stuffed animals, carrots, apples and all dog treats, and being motivated by food, toys and love, knows “sit” and “no,” and is swiftly honing his leash skills. Crate trained, almost fully house-trained and at work on his puppy manners, Snoopy’s dream home has a securely fenced yard, older children and loving adopters who will perfect his manners, complete his training, including his commands, and ensure that his enviable energy is satisfyingly expended fur-ever.   Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes every pet should find a wonderful and caring home.
