Story
Snoopy #4 Three-month-old Snoopy sizzles with spirit and spunk! At 22 pounds and still growing, he’s sweet, loving and playful and, according to his foster mom, a joy to watch. When she sits on the couch, he comes over to cuddle and snuggle, rest his head on her, roll over for belly rubs, and then wriggle his way through a ranger crawl. Extremely energetic, Snoopy not only gets the zoomies and chases balls around the house, he LOVES being outside in the yard, engaging with every dog he meets, and going for long walks and hikes. Curious about the resident cats, he chases after them playfully, loves stuffed animals, carrots, apples and all dog treats, and being motivated by food, toys and love, knows “sit” and “no,” and is swiftly honing his leash skills. Crate trained, almost fully house-trained and at work on his puppy manners, Snoopy’s dream home has a securely fenced yard, older children and loving adopters who will perfect his manners, complete his training, including his commands, and ensure that his enviable energy is satisfyingly expended fur-ever. Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes every pet should find a wonderful and caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application in the order submitted and will contact you within 48 hours (please check your spam folder for our emails). If you and the dog are a good match then we'll connect you with our dog's foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a meet and greet is scheduled. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to complete the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives! A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you. The adoption fee for this pet is $450 (includes a $50 refundable puppy training deposit).
