I am a 73 yr old woman that rescued Rosie 3 yrs ago. She. Is high energy a needs a yard or field to run in. I only have a patio. She is a combo Beagle(leads with her nose) and some kind of cattle dog. She loves to run big circles but can get into trouble when she nips dogs to get them to run. She is a sweet dog, just too much energy for me.

Story
Dogsie was adopted by my mother-in-law approximately 6 years ago. At that time they thought she was approximately 9. Unfortunately my mother-in-law can no longer take care of her. She is a cute, easy dog. She loves walks and to follow you around the house! As she is older she does need to go out fairly often and we do put down pee pads or diaper when she is wandering the house, just in case. If she is let out often and as well just before bed and again first thing in the morning she should be fine. She is sweet and cute and approximately 13lbs. Looking for a new home.

Story
Winnie is a spayed female born on May 2024 she is about a year and a half. I took her in temporarily as she was trying to be urgently rehomed. She is microchipped and will be up to date with her shots. Winnie is a bit skittish it seems as she has been through a tough situation. A lot of things scare her very easily but she isn’t aggressive just afraid. She was an outdoor dog prior to taking her in. From what I have seen from Winnie she is not fond of cats and for dogs, it depends. Kids are unknown. I think she would do best in a home with no animals but I think with another trained dog she would do well. Since shes been with me has done great indoors and has only had one accident in my home. She is also currently being crate trained. She hasn’t chewed on things that are not hers understands commands like sit, wait and paw. Overtime as she gains more confidence I think she will do well with more training.

Monique is a 10-month-old beagle mix, recently transferred to us from our friends over at San Francisco Animal Care and Control. She is a tad shy, yet warming up quickly, and she loves to be close to people! Monique walks consistently by your side (and does the thing where she wants to weave through your legs...). Just because she`s close to 40 lbs doesn`t mean she can`t be a perfect lap dog: this gal loves pets and leans and sitting on top of you. Monique is currently working on her skills through positive reinforcement training and is seeking a new home full of playtime, exercise, and love. Come meet Monique today!

Bailey is a 10 year old puppy at heart who loves going for hikes/walks, playing fetch, exploring, and cuddling on the couch. Bailey is incredibly smart, playful, energetic, and sweet. She can also be anxious with big dogs / take a little time to warm up to some people and tends to bond with specific people. She has separation anxiety and does best when people can stay home with her. I travel frequently and just want to make sure she is living her best happiest life. Bailey has a lot of love to give and will thrive in a home where she has access to toys, a backyard, or frequent walks with a park nearby. She’s great in the car, fully potty trained, knows many tricks, loves to go for adventures.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.18-month-old Barkley is an energetic puppy-ish boy who is very hesitant at first when meeting other dogs and people, and then is full-on happy!  He's of smallish size and loves attention and to be close.  Barkley is crate trained, and, in fact, supposedly spent much of his puppyhood in a crate, which might account for his initial hesitance on encountering new dogs, people and situations. He is loving his newfound freedom in his foster home. Barkley is not housebroken yet, so he will require a home willing to train him and that will allow him lots of freedom and gentle exposure to new things. She and her brother, Dusty, have been together their whole lives and are quite bonded with each other. They are affectionate, friendly, mildly active and gets along with other dogs.  So far, Tulip seems like a very easy-going dog. It took her a little longer than it took Dusty to adjust to the move from her original home, but she has settled in. Tulip has some arthritis for which she takes medication.
