Monique is a 10-month-old beagle mix, recently transferred to us from our friends over at San Francisco Animal Care and Control. She is a tad shy, yet warming up quickly, and she loves to be close to people! Monique walks consistently by your side (and does the thing where she wants to weave through your legs...). Just because she`s close to 40 lbs doesn`t mean she can`t be a perfect lap dog: this gal loves pets and leans and sitting on top of you. Dogsie was adopted by my mother-in-law approximately 6 years ago. At that time they thought she was approximately 9. Unfortunately my mother-in-law can no longer take care of her. She is a cute, easy dog. She loves walks and to follow you around the house! As she is older she does need to go out fairly often and we do put down pee pads or diaper when she is wandering the house, just in case. If she is let out often and as well just before bed and again first thing in the morning she should be fine. She is sweet and cute and approximately 13lbs. Looking for a new home.

She can also be anxious with big dogs / take a little time to warm up to some people and tends to bond with specific people. She has separation anxiety and does best when people can stay home with her. I travel frequently and just want to make sure she is living her best happiest life. Bailey has a lot of love to give and will thrive in a home where she has access to toys, a backyard, or frequent walks with a park nearby. She’s great in the car, fully potty trained, knows many tricks, loves to go for adventures.
