Story
Mia is a kind and affectionate friend. She loves to run and play all day and to be around other people or pets. She is a bit reactive but not in an aggressive way, she just gets excited to meet new people and pets and approaches them with so much energy. She does not bark unless she is alone to herself. Mia also loves to cuddle, she will lay by your side any chance she gets. Mia requires a lot of attention and constant reinforcement training. She knows right from wrong but can’t help to break a rule or two when nobody is around to correct her. Mia also requires daily exercise as she has a lot of energy to burn. I also find it helps with her behavior after she’s been able to exercise. I’m looking for someone or a family that is willing and capable of fulfilling Mia’s needs as I’m no longer able to provide that for her.

Hello, Meet Oliver the Beagle who is an energetic 40-45lbs boy in need of a loving home, who loves the outdoors and enjoys following his nose on long walks. He is intelligent, food motivated, and learns tricks easily with treats. Oliver knows how to sit, lay down, touch, twirl, and shake. One of the little games we do with him is hiding treats around the house for his nose to find, and boy does he love it. He is a very sensitive and emotional dog who will let it be known when he wants some attention. Great with young children, especially cleaning up after them when they are all done with their food. Oliver does really well with bath time but can be sensitive with his ear cleaning and nail filing. Will happily curl up next to you on the couch to watch movies with you.

Rescue case: Mia We took in this sweet girl yesterday! She’s a beautiful 2yo Beagle, she’s on the bigger side, approximately 40lbs and tall (15” likely). We got her spayed this morning and she did well! She came from a local owner in San Diego, CA. This is what we know about her by her previous owner: “I got her when she was 3 months old and had ever since and I recently had to move back in with my mom where they don't accept pets over 25lbs. She is crate and potty trained but needs reinforcement as she will only have an accident if she's completely alone.” “*Personality: Energetic, friendly, hungry, cuddly, kind *Reactive in a over-friendly way *Gets along with dogs, cats, kids and people *Adjusts quickly to new environments” Included with adoption: - Wellness exam - Vaccinations up to date (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies) - Fecal test - Pending results - FLEX4 test (Heartworm, Ehrlichia, Anaplasma and Lyme) - Pending results - Heartworm/Flea/tick preventive given up to date (Simparica Trio) - Microchip with lifetime enrollment (AKC reunite) - Spayed - Leash and collar - Adoption contract - Some of her current food Mia will be ready to be adopted around Nov 16th, once she heals from her spay surgery. Yoda is a loving, protective, energetic Beagle-mix. We rescued him when he was 12 weeks old, and he will be 9 in March 2025. He loves treats, running around fiesta island, all day play at the Wag Hotel, and snuggling with people. We are devastated that we need to find a new home for him, but we just had a baby and his anxiety around kids, piercing bark, and territorial nature affect our child’s wellbeing. Yoda is crate trained, leash trained, and knows all basic commands. We hope to find a loving home for him! He will love you fiercely and be your new best friend.
