Story
Hi I'm Lola! I'm about 2 years old and I am just the sweetest little wiggly girl ever. I had babies that were taken away from me after they found me wandering the streets extremely skinny, so I was very depressed in the shelter and stopped eating until my foster mama got me! The second I got to her house I ate 2 bowls of food and was so happy to be safe I rolled over and had the best belly rubs. I am spayed, microchipped and I have no aggressions over food or toys. I will always greet you with my wiggles, kisses and my big smile. I love cuddling, soft blankets, treats, meeting new dogs and a good toy to chew on. When I run or get excited I hop like a bunny and it is the cutest thing ever. I love to get the zoomies and hop around then cuddle with my foster mom for hours. I haven't met a cat yet, but I have loved the kids I have met. I had puppies before I was rescued so any small dog or child I like to treat as my own :) All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. The standard minimum donation for dogs over six months to seven years is $200, puppies under six months is $250, dogs eight years and over are $100 unless specified otherwise. Story
Meet Annie Mae! This 4-year-old Basset Hound/Weimaraner mix is as sweet as they come. She’s had a bit of a rough start, originally coming to us from a high-kill shelter in East Texas after her previous owner surrendered her for “barking at the FedEx delivery driver.” Despite that, Annie Mae is a friendly, neutral, and loving companion who just wants to be close to her people.   Annie Mae was adopted once but was returned due to some separation anxiety, which causes her to howl when left alone. She’s currently on medication to help keep her calm, and her wonderful foster family is working hard to help her overcome this. She’s a world-class snuggler and loves curling up on the couch or bed for some quality cuddle time.   Annie Mae is fantastic with other dogs, cats, and even farm animals! She’s also great with kids, making her a wonderful fit for families. We’re looking for a home with a family who can continue working with her on her separation anxiety and who can give her the support she needs. Annie Mae will need to be in a house (not an apartment or townhome) since she does become vocal when first left alone.   If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, and truly lovable companion who will brighten your days, Annie Mae might just be the one for you. She’s ready to find a forever home that will love her as much as she’ll love them! ##1672189##
