Crush has been through so much but has the sweetest, most resilient spirit. This 3-year-old boy is a fun house companion who gets along well with people of all ages and other dogs. Now that he's feeling better, he has lots to say so would need to be adopted to a house (no apartments). Crush is healthy, healed, and working on leash manners. And he's so cute! Howdy! I am Halo, a Mama to six sweet babies born in December. Now it's time for me to find my forever home! I am roughly 42 lbs with a stout body and short legs, people say I am a Basset Hound / Pitbull mix.  The best thing about me - I am extremely low key and low maintenance. I chill out all day long - sleep, observe, and sunbathe. In fact stretching by body out tummy down on that scratchy grass and basking in the Houston sunshine is my favorite hobby! I am good with kiddos, not food motivated, and a very loyal companion. I don't like a lot of commotion or overly playful dogs. I would do best in a low-key household as the only dog or an older or mellow companion since I am definitely an Alpha female.  My bark is intimidating, and it will come out when I hear something alarming or spot something unusual beyond my gate. With a dog this chill you'd think there has to be a catch, right? Well, was really under socialized as a puppy which has resulted in some leash aggression - which I am currently working with a trainer.  Please don't let that overshadow all my amazing attributes! I can't wait to meet you and show you what a sweet girl and amazing companion I could be.  March 21, 2025, 12:23 am
