Story
Crush has been through so much but has the sweetest, most resilient spirit. This 3-year-old boy is a fun house companion who gets along well with people of all ages and other dogs. Now that he's feeling better, he has lots to say so would need to be adopted to a house (no apartments). Crush is healthy, healed, and working on leash manners. And he's so cute! This boy deserves the very best happily ever after after such a rough start. ##2259121##

Story
Sadie is learning how to be a house dog after living outside most of her life.  She is doing well with potty training but still has an occasional accident.  Sadie is very affectionate with people but can be a bit shy at first. She likes other dogs and tries to play with them but can get a bit bossy at times. ##2277794##

Story
Meet Olive Oil, our sweet and silly Basset Hound born on October 30, 2021. She’s fully house-trained, kennel trained, gentle, and has the funniest personality—she was raised by cats, so she truly believes she’s one of them! She loves to perch on furniture, nap like a queen, and even “sings” along to music. Olive is a laid-back girl at home, but she lights up at the dog park—she loves to run, play catch, and socialize. She gets along great with other pets and would thrive in a home with furry siblings. We love her dearly, but due to pregnancy and downsizing, we’re heartbroken to be rehoming her. We’re looking for a loving home where she’ll be treated like family, because that’s what she is. You will fall in love with her quickly she’s just that special 💕

Story
Howdy! I am Halo, a Mama to six sweet babies born in December. Now it's time for me to find my forever home! I am roughly 42 lbs with a stout body and short legs, people say I am a Basset Hound / Pitbull mix.  The best thing about me - I am extremely low key and low maintenance. I chill out all day long - sleep, observe, and sunbathe. In fact splaying out  on that scratchy grass basking in the Houston sunshine is my favorite thing to do. I am good with respectful kiddos and a very loyal companion. I don't like a lot of commotion or overly playful dogs. I would do best in a low-key household as the only dog or an older or mellow companion since I am definitely an Alpha female.  My bark is intimidating, and it will come out when I hear something alarming or spot something unusual beyond my gate. I do have some leash aggression issues which  I am currently working with a trainer.  Please don't let that overshadow all my amazing attributes! I can't wait to meet you and show you what a sweet girl and amazing companion I am.  March 28, 2025, 10:36 pm

Story
Falkor is a 5-year-old Irish Wolfhound mix with a stunning tan and black coat, weighing in at 52 pounds. From the moment he arrived at our rescue, Falkor has been a source of endless joy and smiles. His cuteness is matched only by his fantastic personality, making him a favorite among staff and visitors alike. Trusting and affectionate, Falkor thrives on human interaction and is always ready to make new human friends. He is however, dog selective and tends to prefer females over male dogs. He's shown remarkable progress with his potty training and is getting the hang of using a doggy door, demonstrating his eagerness to learn and adapt. Falkor's love for treats is well-known, and it's a great motivator for him as he learns new tricks and behaviors. His loving nature and willingness to please make him an excellent companion for anyone looking for a loyal and joyful furry friend.
