Story
Zoro is a three-year-old, male, Basset Hound mix that just wants to be loved! He is 40 pounds, microchipped, neutered and up to date on all immunizations. Zoro is good with little dogs, but forgets how big he is compared to them when he is doing his zoomies! He has not been around dogs bigger than himself while I have been fostering him. He does get along wonderfully with his birth-sibling, brother. They play well together and especially like running after each other playing chase, as well as sleeping next to each other on the same pillow. It seems that he is the alpha over his brother. I do not know how he does around cats. He is very people orientated, thinks he is a lap dog and always wants and accepts affection. Although Zoro walks on a leash fairly, well, he does pull frequently. He has shown some improvement with his no-pull harness. Zoro is potty/house trained, he whines then barks if I don’t respond and let him out, but not much else. He likes to jump up on people and I have been working with him to stop/correct this habit by saying “OFF” and he seems to understand as he does get down, but soon forgets that he is not allowed to jump up on me or others, so it is a work in progress. He is comfortable in his crate but can become anxious, barking/whining at times, again very people oriented. Occasional accidents in the crate if left for more than four hours. Zoro loves being outside. At night, he sleeps in his crate and loves being in the living room while I am watching TV in the evening. Zoro knows “sit,” but “stay” seems to be foreign to him. He also seems to know “leave-it” but does not drop it if he has something in his mouth already, but will let me take it from him without growling. Zoro will need durable toys for outside as he will chew things if he is board. Zoro loves being outside, but sleeps inside, in his crate at night. He also loves being in the living room while I am watching TV in the evening. This sweet, loveable dog is full of energy and will thrive with a good fenced yard, training and lots of love and affection.

He is 40 pounds, microchipped, neutered and up to date on all immunizations. He has not been around dogs bigger than himself while I have been fostering him. Although he does get along wonderfully with his brother. I do not know how he does around cats. He is very people orientated, thinks he is a lap dog and always wants and accepts affection. Panda walks on a leash well and seems to prefer being on my left side. Panda is potty/house trained. He starts by whining and then barking if I don’t respond by letting him out of his crate. Story
In a world where everyone is always in such a rush, I prefer to take my time and savor every moment. I believe slow and steady wins the race, and that`s why I`m not one to rush into anything. But don`t let my laid-back attitude fool you - once I get to know you, I can be the most loving and loyal companion you`ve ever met.One of my favorite things to do is go for walks that lead to new smells and adventures. It`s like every step is a new opportunity to explore the world and discover something new. And if you really want to get my attention, just bring along some tasty treats. I can`t resist a good snack!Believe it or not, I`m a lot smaller than you might think. But what I lack in size, I make up for in heart. And when it comes to riding in a car, I`m an absolute pro. I love feeling the wind in my fur and watching the world go by outside.Ask anyone who knows me and they`ll tell you what a good boy I am. I walk beautifully on a leash and always listen to the humans that I know and trust. I may be slow and steady, but I`m also reliable and trustworthy - a true friend for life. So why not take a chance on me and let me show you what a wonderful companion I can be?
